SteveMcMahon said:So there I was, sitting on my favourite leather recliner in McMahon Manor, with the au pair kneeling in front of me in her saucy French maid outfit, being oppressed by my Patriarchy.
But something was missing.
"Something's missing, Aleksandra."
"Mmmhmmmpphh mmmhhhmm mmmm?"
"No, you're doing an excellent job, princess. Carry on. But something is missing..."
And then it hit me, like a thunderclap of inspiration, or being sat on by Lindy West.
Something was missing from all this talk of "rape culture"! For all the girls menstruating all over the internet about rape, nobody had yet come up with a workable solution.
And yet, the solution was obvious: why not stop rape... with a hashtag? It's an idea so radical and amazing, yet nobody seemed to have thought of it before!
I let Aleksandra complete her task, and sent her on her way with a cheeky smack on the rump. Then I took to the internet, only to find that some feminist genius had beaten me to the donkey-punch:
Days of Broken Arrows said:By making it seem as if rape is everywhere and ordinary men are blaming women for that, these women are purposely stigmatizing men.
This is something feminists have been doing since the 1970s. Phrases like "chauvinist" are now dated, so they're finding new ways. There are several reasons for this and I won't go into detail about them (one has to do with money, the other has to do with political correctness).
Don't play into their frame. Don't even address that they're (falsely) painting this as something having to do with what women are wearing. That's a red herring.
Instead, ask why this is an issue when violent crime is down and a small fraction of all men commit these crimes. Because these feminists are now getting like the people who were still going on about "those damn Japs!" long after World War II was finished.

Tagged by @retrochick_uk to post a photo of me feeling empowered for #thisdoesntmeanyes campaign. This photo is empowering because it's a reminder of how strong and fierce I am. I can't really go for a run without getting cat called and god forbid I go into a bar alone. I can dress how I want and I will because I've built a strong body FOR ME. Now it's your turn to post a photo of yourself where you feel empowered and tag 20 other women asking them to do the same

So I thought what better way do I feel empowered than when I'm wearing my red lipstick and leopard print! I dress this way for me because it makes me feel like a strong and beautiful woman. Also Im a big busty tattooed woman and just because I choose to have my "girls" on display it doesn't give anyone else the right to play!! They are a part of me not an opportunity for sleazy comments and certainly should never be seen by any as asking for it!!! Consent people it's a three letter word listen to it always !!!

I was tagged by the gorgeous @miss_bella_dvine for the #thisdoesntmeanyes campaign. I choose this photo because I feel the most confident when I look like this. I like wearing red lipstick, having my hair done, wearing makeup, wearing a nice dress/outfit, and putting myself together. But by doing so, it does not give anyone the right to harass nor does it mean 'yes' to being taken advantage of. Too many men in this world feel that it is okay to treat women so poorly and even more disgusting when men think that they can take a woman of their dignity, confidence, and overall trust. Wearing red lips does not mean yes, a short skirt/dress does not mean yes, expressive makeup does not mean yes, if a woman says NO...it means NO. We were all brought up to understand that 'no' means 'no' and 'yes' means 'yes'. Women don't ask to be violated, so DON'T DO IT. I now tag some lovely ladies to try and spread the word that looking the way we do does not mean yes.

I was tagged by @sydneyvoodoo for the #thisdoesntmeanyes campaign. Since when does showing any form of skin constitute as being a bad thing? Or even inappropriate for that matter? I've always been one for cutting practically all the necks off of my t-shirts, because I like having a little shoulder exposed once in a while, so what right? Unfortunately, there are sleazy men out there who think just because you have ANY form of skin exposed, cleavage showing, tight dress, short skirt, high heels, hair done, expressive make-up, or even an arm full of bracelets, think we're looking for action. News flash: we're *not* asking for it! As a woman who dresses to express herself, I'm doing it for ME not for anyone else. End of story. I have been disrespected by men on many different occasions, and each time I was minding my own business, *not* asking for some skaggy comment to make me feel bad about myself. Can you imagine how it would be if the tables were turned and a woman said something disrespectful to a man? I'm sure they wouldn't like it much. So then I wonder, why is it that so many men choose to do this to us women? We'll probably never know, but a message to these men, its simple: DON'T, there is no in between.

Seen a lot of #thisdoesntmeanyes on my feed today. This picture was from the first year that I've ever felt harassed in cosplay. Just because someone is dressed as your favorite doesn't mean that it's okay to hug them or take their picture without permission.

She should team up with the Agent of Consent from the Gamergate thread. Together they would be unstoppable. Able to boomcycle consent myths in a single cheese feast! It is so totally obvz I can't even.
