Race riots 2020

The raise of the mob is an inevitable result of increasing wealth gap. Not saying that is the only cause or it is justified. The mob is very frightening and cannot be reasoned or controlled with brute force.

The Romans knew it a long time ago. They never tried to police or control the mob. Instead they held gladiatorial games to satisfy the mob's desire for blood and destruction.

I don't think we can hold gladiatorial games to satisfy the modern mob. The closest solution I can think of is blast this baby during the riot

This will keep them from destroying the properties lol

Nope, the mob is easily controlled.
Trump has said it. It's cities that are opting out of controlling it.

Comparing our civilization to Rome makes no sense. Rome didn't have twitter, and a large percentage of the population was battle ready.
We're talking about 4chan dweebs on the street.

Those people are much, much lower than 4chan dweebs.

I wouldn't quite write you off as fully wrong... Although you are mostly incorrect

I mean if you're not talking about /pol/ (politically incorrect) then you would be right..
Most other boards on 4chan are generally the degenerates led by a lack of impulse control that browse The forum boards for hardcore pornography, hentai and video games

A rapper in Detroit named Jizzie P got shot & killed in his driveway Tuesday night. I know, not something anyone here would pay attention to per se (and due to the guy's clownish name some may find it ironic & comical, but I digress). I couldn't help but notice one of the sharp replies in the comments section of the Detroit Free Press article discussing the young man's death:

Kai_E.:

There is no dispute that most CONTEMPORARY rap music has no redeeming value whatsoever. It purposefully promotes violence, misogyny, and generally instills counterproductive behavior in impressionable minds that are devoid of stable parenting. The record industry is well aware of its' deleterious influence, and they avoid marketing and distributing rap with positive messages contending that it "won't sell." As far as BLM contrary to the what most believe, it IS NOT an organic movement which was founded by "black" people. The title and message of the organization resonates clearly, but the organization itself is inundated with agitators, stool pigeons, and agent provocateurs.

What about the mob that brought about the Russian Revolution?

Are you really comparing hardened early 20th century Russian peasants to Antifa?
Antifa did start in Weimar or Berlin (correct me on the location if I'm wrong) all it takes is just some momentum. Not 10 years ago like (((Mark Levin))) likes to say on his radio... (That would inconvenience his framework completely)

Amazing that in a country of 320+ million people you keep seeing the same ugly faces turn up at these protest

Yeah I know. I attended a protest one county over shortly after the Trump inauguration and saw many of the same people protesting a confederate monument a year later next to my own city hall. The next county over in the opposite direction is having BLM protests this Friday. I wonder if I would see some familiar faces if I went to check it out?

And the Buckley conservative movement started around 1955, so we must be full of battle-hardened 25-35 year-old WWII veterans that just came back home from defeating the single most powerful military institution in the world, right? So what are you worried about?

Origin ≠ Current Form

I haven't followed the Breonna Taylor case closely, but who do the activists want charged? Do they not believe that cops executing a warrant should be able to return fire if someone in the house shoots at them? Or was there something specific about this case that they view as rotten?

A lot is rotten about the case, from what I have read. No-knock warrants are dangerous precisely for what happened: A citizen living in a high crime area will wonder if gang bangers are making a home invasion and shoot if they don't have positive ID it's the authorities. Note that a gang banger can also yell "Police!" to lower a victim's guard as they crash through the door.

Firing back into an apartment with inadequate lighting resulted in precisely what happened here as well: Innocents were hit (she could have been a hostage) and the rounds went through walls into other units.

I'm armchair quarterbacking this, but if I had done it, I'd have had the guys dress up as firemen and pull the fire alarm and then knock on the door and they could have gotten in that way.

No, that’s farcical as a main reason.

Even if wealth distribution is less even than in the past, everyone is coming off from a much higher base, mainly due to technology.

There was no $600 federal unemployment check (plus state benefits) from 1929 to 1933.

Hungry and homeless people who are hungry and homeless through no fault of their own would make rioting inevitable, not the entitlement we see in these riots.

Plus, these people know in large part that the main beneficiaries of wealth inequality - Bezos and Zuckerberg et al - are on their side.

The mob exists because, among other things:

1. Cultural Marxism/critical theory/intersectionality have been persistently infecting academic institutions since the 1970s and then washed over into media, popular culture, corporations, sports and now government agencies.

2. Minority communities have been plagued by a Democratic “governance” that has “successfully” overseen countless more violent black-on-black deaths than what the KKK/lynch mobs/other actual (not imaginary) white supremacists inflicted on blacks across numerous decades. This point is also tied to the worship and perpetration of absent father families and the belief that minority crime and the resultant incarceration is merely the Big Bad White Man being mean to blacks. With no desire to accept responsibility for themselves, Democratic politicians and street-level miscreants project outwards.

3. Generations X, Y and Z require constant gratification. Compared to parents and grandparents who in many cases never went overseas in their youth and had only two pairs of functioning shoes, these generations want to have ample expensive holidays, $15 avocado toast for their regular brunch, five streaming subscriptions, more designer and brand name clothes than they could wear in a year or at least six months without wearing things twice, and a pricey home in a trendy urban neighborhood. The lifestyle expectations of my Millennial cohort in particular are obscene (we will see if Zoomers are as bad or worse with time).

4. Social media works like game theory ideas of constant competition and escalation, with people curating their lives in such a way that they look better and more exciting than others. In a sense, this is the closest thing to a “wealth gap”, as you put it, but it is usually one based on the illusion of wealth.

I know it's fun to mock antifa, but I believe they are more of a threat than many realize. They have been burning, looting, and murdering across the country for months. I fear we have not seen the worst either.
Yes, they've been burning, looting, and murdering (lol, BLM) without pushback. It's so easy to BLM when you're not facing any opposition, even a caveman could do it. But there's evidence - video evidence - that when there's real pushback, they stop real quick.
