I would not be the least bit surprised if the boogaloo bois are not in fact financially backed by the same people backing Antifa. They are just a fake right wing movement so the press can say "see, it is both sides". The boogaloo bois don't stand for anything right wing that I am aware of. At best they are libertarians, but I have never heard them speak out about the destruction of the middle class due to mass immigration, wealth floating to the top, or ending wars in the middle east.

I’m trying to say this as diplomatically as possible, but I think that comment is reflective of someone who hasn’t actually been in many or any tense situations.
This also doesn’t have any propaganda value because anyone who could be influenced by it will never hear about it.
You CAN order them to be in other areas...but leftist civil unrest should be compared less to an expert sniper and more to a crazed psycho chucking dynamite everywhere. There’s absolutely no guarantee that you won’t have some rich kids decide to smart smashing things up in the wrong areas, opportunists deciding to loot the other side of town while the cops or busy, or some nut job deciding he’s gonna chuck molotovs at the rich people apartments. Riots are a chaotic enough instrument that they can easily blow back on you, much like playing with a Molotov cocktail.

But of course it’s being spun by the media as “those racist cops attacked peaceful protesters and engaged in voter suppression/intimidation.” No doubt that’s the result the organizer wanted.
The same town also defended the confederate statue in front of their court house earlier this year from a mob that wanted to tear it down. They’re not having it.
