We should coexist with black people. They don't want to go back to Africa. They don't want their own country in North America, and that would be too messy a process anyways. So, bringing them out of a country where they're the majority was a bad thing ?
I agree to a certain extent. We can't just ship them back to Africa...
I'm really seeing The only peaceful path is a have an ethnic balkanization of the country if we're too sustain living decently.
I don't agree that the historical systems created this culture we see today.
I'm no expert but if the culture we see today from black people was present prior to MLK, they would still be segregated.
All the media I've seen from back then show black people being just as upstanding and respectful as whites. They dressed respectably, they had self restraint, they peacefully protested, and in the end, they succeeded. They had firefighters hosing them down with water, they were beaten, etc, but they (from what I know) didn't fight back. They endured.
Complete 180 compared to what we see now. Somewhere along the line, their culture took a nosedive.
We have coexisted for 400 years. They are less than 15% of the population. They don't question the foundational aspects of our civilization, like the Indians did, to provide an example of a group we couldn't coexist with. It's not a life or death national emergency like mass immigration or the sexual revolution. We can figure it out.Coexisting ? Describe how ? Black society is almost completely toast because of Marxist influence destroying it.
John Mark is right. Total separation of left and right is the only peaceful solution available. And we need to make sure, once we separate, to build a system which they cannot infiltrate and destroy like they did this time.
Accountability is one thing, with which I agree. You'll note I did not deny the reality of black violence and crime. But if you go back 100 years, black families were in tact and had much more cultural integrity. One cannot deny the systemic efforts of the government to quash this.
Let's also not pretend that the black community has every equal opportunity. Most blacks are relegated to ghettos and fatherless families. How does one magically fix that?
I'm not denying individual accountability. It's just misleading to claim it's blacks as a "race" that are inherently flawed. If blacks had been treated equally from this country's founding, the situation would not be as dire as it is now.
Fair enough. It's a tough problem, one that impacts a lot of people, not just blacks. People grow up with fathers who are drunks, philanderers, with abuse, etc.
What happened that made things worse? Well, E Michael Jones talks a lot about this topic and one could fill pages discussing it. They've been hit by the same maelstrom that's hit everyone else- the sexual revolution, pornography, etc.
Regardless of the past though, things are where they are, with a >75% illegitimacy rate. The solution HAS to come from black leaders and black people saying enough. No amount of money will solve it. Blaming and damning others will bring about nothing but emotional instability. Instead of excusing men who abandon their families and commit crime, subtly shame them instead. Avoid blame-shifting. Listen to an interview the late Marlin Newburn (prison psychologist) did with Colin Flaherty a few years ago. It's on Youtube. Newburn noted in there the pattern he saw over and over again around the prison system -- black kid commits a crime, mom says he's a good boy and wouldn't do that even though he did, and the kid never develops a sense of accountability. Result: certain repeat offender. Much higher drug abuse rates. Read Life at the Bottom (Dalrymple). Same thing.
It's no different than I used tell a young man who had some pretty serious drug issues-- at some point you gotta quit blaming the parents, your upbringing, etc. You have to own it. (He's doing quite well now.)
