I've often wondered what real victims of violent sexual assault/domestic abuse think of girl-who-cried-wolf bullshit like this... I imagine it's quite insulting and invalidating to have your genuine victimization equated with idiotic victim mentality.

To be honest, I feel more violated by the way Disney treated me than I feel from being raped,

If not getting validation feels worse than the actual rape, odds are I'd say you weren't raped.

I am not really sure why she is contacting disney instead of the police, the rape didn't happen at work, and was not at a work related event.

I am not unsympathetic but she went about this all wrong: call the cops, get a rape kit

It really appears that she is trying to get this dude fired without going to the police. With that realization, it makes it very plausible that she is scared to go to the police because she is scared of filing a false report, so her course of action is to try to game the HR system at Disney to get revenge on this dude.

It's really kind of a non-story. The more she complains without going to the police, the more people are going to dismiss her story.

If she is emotionally unprepared to go to the police and make an accusation of rape, she is also probably emotionally unprepared to have recreational sex with a relative stranger. She should realise this.

I've always wondered the same, but I've never seen this happen. It's hilarious that false rape accusers (generally) enjoy such fervent support from people who were actually raped. It's like honest, chaste women feverishly defending sluts (extremely common among traditional and religious girls) as their feminist drive takes over, or half of lower and middle class defending the super-rich who rob them.

Judging on the incredibly detailed emotional journey, it appears she purposely left out anything at the scene of the crime. Like motive, intent, evidence, witnesses.

Don't let this fool you. Crying rape is no different than crying wolf. She has a lot to lose if her father doesn't conveniently believe her strawman rationalizations. He might give her the yoink and cut off her money.

Yeah, my doubt in this story comes from the part where she was willing to tell everyone EXCEPT the police. Disney would have probably take her seriously if she showed up with an officer at her side. I can understand if you don't want to talk to people about it, but by the point you're willing to talk to the front desk guy at your apartment, you should be willing to talk to the police.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned the ultimate false rape accusation prophylaxis: morning sex. Think about it: how batshit crazy would you have to be to go home with someone, fuck them, sleep over/have them sleep over, and fuck them again in the morning while completely sober, and still believe you were raped? I'm not saying there's not a hamster out there somewhere that's fucked up enough to rationalize something like that, but even on the off-chance that she went to the police this would still be powerful objective evidence that the encounter was consensual.

The only real downside is that this can't be executed without spending the night together. Honestly that doesn't really bother me, though. Besides, I'm a big fan of morning sex. I get really horny in the morning, the sex is usually better than when you're both sloppy drunk, and there's far less concern about LMR because you've already gotten the notch. Sure, no method is 100% foolproof, but it definitely makes her story a lot more implausible if she has to come up with an explanation for why she willingly slept over and banged again in the morning (without any evidence of a struggle being involved). And as I said, it makes it a lot less likely that she'll make a false rape accusation in the first place because of the cognitive dissonance involved.

Short of videotaping every one of your bangs, I think going for morning sex provides as good a level of protection as anything else out there. Certainly good enough for all practical purposes.
