Toronto gets 3 months of snow type Winter from dec-feb and 4.5ish months of cold weather from late oct to late march area. Varies from year to year. Last years Winter was super mild with barely any snow. This year, early Jan to late feb was snow and this Winter was much colder then the previous year. Montreal is way colder and has way more snow btw but other things make up for that. Buffalo gets more snow then Toronto usually which I think has something to do with the lakes so NYC definitely has different weather than TO.

1) I actually think the weather in London is far shyttier than Toronto. At least Toronto has more sun and this is vital to feelings of well being.

2) Toronto has this PC wack vibe to it that I cannot take. Even when people think they are being rebels, I want to puke at their lack of invention.

3) Even so called wack cities like Whitby, Oshawa, Ottawa, Halifax had a much stronger vivre to me because they were not trying to be what they are not. I always enjoyed myself in those places because those were where the true Canadians resided.

4) I could make it, that it was all about 'who' I rolled with (according to what this Guyanese dude had told me).

1) Couldn't agree more. however it should be noted that what Jolly Olde, lacks in weather it more than makes up for it in vibe, variety, culture mini-holiday options, sports etc etc etc. Toronto doesn't even com close to being able to claim the inverse.

2) Yup, and not-a-one of em could discuss any of the underlying issues of ( x ) or even their opinions of them, with even the slighest degree of depth. You know, the kind that would naturally come with even the sparsest sprinkling of fore-thought.

3)Its pronounced / spelled Shitby :p. but I heartily agree with you again. Grew up close to it and yeah... whole other breed.

4)The only difference this makes is quality / level of distraction via group based self-delusion ie. circle jerk.

1) Agreed London is a grimey place with terrible weather but socially it is a mile better than Toronto. The weather in Tdot is nothing to brag about, right now it is freezing and calling for snow. Other than the quality of life in Toronto, which is expensive. The place has very few if any things going for it.

Having spent a lot of time in London, I look at the city as a small-town version of Toronto.

London is dirty, the people there seem to be very uninspiring and have a general lack of cultural interest. Atleast I can point to Toronto and say through it's hyper-multi-culturalism there is a sense of cultural districts and ideas that are interspersed with each-other that give the city a really interesting identity, which for me makes Toronto interesting on a personal level.

However in London, the women who are hot all come from small towns surrounding the city, and the hot women in London try to leave because the city, for lack of a better word, is boring (and dirty). So what you have left are hot women who have been super-praised in their small communities for their looks, and this gets brought to a more city-level because the guys who inhabit London are essentially small town gentlemen in a small town that happens to be the size of a city. Or, you get women who are believe through the cities large climate of drug dealers that in order to have power and acceptance that they need to be "ghetto" and "independent," and that because of this they are better than what London has to offer, and so they flock to the idea that one day they and their drug dealer boyfriend will live in Toronto happily ever after, because apparently Toronto loves ghetto-bitches. Or something.

So women become super stuck up, or, they become nobodies who take on this "I'm a t.dot girl forreal, fuck London, seen?" persona.

Being from Toronto is considered status if you live in London. Remember that shit boys.

Haha, well that clears up a lot of confusion. I just assumed cause London Ontario was so close to Toronto we were all talking about the ontario London. My bad.

Newsvertisement by Seeking Arrangement IMO. The author probably didn't even step out of her bedroom/cubicle to write this piece. A lot of what you see in the papers (ie Finance Opinion or newsblog pieces) is spurred on by people shelling out cash or pulling strings. You know how vulnerable the female herd mind is to this kind of stuff. This is probably just stroking their hamster..."it's ok, so many other girls are doing it...rough economic times"..."the arrangement is not always about sex"..."why are you giving it away for free"...

I knew exactly which London you were talkin about haha. I have some stories from that shit hole... Can't wait to leave Ontario the more I think about it. The GTA is fucked, go way north if you wanna find a respectable white woman.

****** = best in the world, six stars
I'm going to add Tokyo to this list as Ive been there for about five years

Architecture - *****

Logistics - ****** logistics are so good here its just amazing, go to any major area and after you get to know the area you'll be able to find a woman, take her to a bar, and a love hotel nearby for the bang)

Nightlife - ****** There's pretty much almost TOO much to do every weekend)

Quality of Women (appearance) - ****** I didn't like asian girls before I went to Tokyo, but because of Tokyo I love them now! The way Tokyo girls dress ALL the time is just nothing short of amazing, it leaves red pillers speechless, and moist, blue pillers feeling uncomfortable(Ive talked to a few there who were not expecting their mangina to start tingling with all the stylish women around. they were"feeling odd" a lot of the time when they saw how the women dress. . .feeling odd = getting aroused and too ashamed to admit it)

Quality of Women (personality) - **** This is a toughie, some women will not give you the time of day, period. some women will jump on your dick as soon as they see you (speaking from experience) its tied into the culture there I wont go into it here because its a large subject, BUT you CAN find your own Niche, once you find that. . .you're good to go, there are a lot of hot girls there, and some just like different types of guys, he'll I was walking around Shibuya one day, saw a chick looking at me through the glass of Scramble, a bar under the subway near the large Starbucks and crossing, went in, talked to her for FIVE MINUTES, then went to a love hotel for the bang, I've had girls basically rush me at the door to a party because they wanted me, I've Banged a girl in the VIP room of a club 20 minutes after meeting her, I've met girls who were in the Mafia as well god......

getting with the women there is pretty much as easy or as hard as you choose to make it just take a little time to find out your niche, and milk it.

Weather - ***.5 (*** in winter, *** in summer) Winter can suck, summer is hard unless you get used to subtropical weather, but in the summer you can go to enoshima beach. . .where all the hot young J-girls are. . .that place is like heaven. . .not a poosy paradise (you need to know the language to do well with those girls, that and network with the cool Japanese guys. But if you can do that, it's amazing)

Restaurants - ***** not a six because its hard to find certain kind of restaurants like good Mexican food (there's one place in Naka Meguro that's pretty good but its expensive as hell)

Cost of Living - ** (it's expensive but not unlivable after you figure out what to get and what not to get)

Public Transit - ****** It's better than New York's, efficient, CLEAN, ON TIME to the MINUTE, extremely extensive, I mean you can pretty much go to all the major cities in the country from the train lines. In the cities, you can go ANYWHERE, FAST on the cheap! People don't talk on subways much (except on weekends or non workdays) its just amazing.

Opportunities to Generate Wealth - ** This is its downfall, unless you are already rich, born in Japan and breakthrough the fucked up social programming most Japanese have to deal with (it's pretty fucked up tbh, which is why they can't enjoy their own country and want to travel so damn much), or have good connections, money is pretty hard to make out here unless you come on the dollar of a major corporation, or have your own business going on preferably on the net (which is what I'm working on atm). the business culture here is very stifling and a lot of bad shit goes down that you wouldn't expect. Starting a business here from scratch is pretty hard, but if you have a business in your home country, and want to start a branch in Tokyo, its a lot easier to go that route. (this is me speaking from experience here.) That being said, you CAN do it, it just takes a lot of work.

Education - *****

Entertainment - ****** Not even counting the cultural side of things, but just normal stuff like going to the movies. . .amazing, the theaters are large, service is awesome its just amazing in comparison

'Fun' factor - **** (if you are well off, the fun is...infinite! If not, you'd best be spending your time getting your money up but you can still have fun.)

Jobs ** If you speak Japanese and read write it, and you have a degree, you can pretty much get a job at any company, and THEY WILL TRAIN YOU! They will train you in whatever you apply for if you get the job (that's pretty much most of Asia to be honest) None of that "you don't have enough experience" for xx job that we are too lazy and cheap to train new employees for, that you have in the states. The Caveat is that you have to subscribe to the Japanese Corporate culture. . which sucks unless you get lucky

About the only area in which Toronto is 'world-class' is entertainment (it has 3 major sports teams, a good symphony, numerous galleries and museums and an international film festival - there's something for just about everybody), but the rest of it? This is why Toronto has the massive inferiority complex it has; it's a business city that's trying to be all-world, and it's failing (maybe rolling back some of the draconian laws, taxes and entitlements would help?), and the people know this, and get defensive. It's a boring city full of boring people, and Roosh just kicked the hornet's nest by telling everyone how lame the women are.

Let's just do a similar tally for the city Toronto so desperately wants to be...

New York City

Architecture - *****
Logistics - *** (averaged, ***** Manhattan, * Queens etc,.)
Nightlife - *****
Quality of Women (appearance) - *****
Quality of Women (personality) - ***
Weather - *** (averaged)
Restaurants - *****
Cost of Living - *
Public Transit - ****
Opportunities to Generate Wealth - *****
Education - *****
Entertainment - *****
'Fun' factor - *****

Total: 54

...and the so-called red-headed stepchild of Canada...

Montreal

Architecture - ****
Logistics - ***
Nightlife - *****
Quality of Women (appearance) - *****
Quality of Women (personality) - ***
Weather - ** (averaged)
Restaurants - *****
Cost of Living - **
Public Transit - insufficient data...
Opportunities to Generate Wealth - **

I also hear stories of guys who meet independently of this site via other means (like Couchsurfing) and then discover they both read RVF. That's why we need to start using the "Do you know of a pet shop around here?" secret handshake.

What bar where you at?

I went to Dance Cave last night and it was time there in a year, and my first time there not drunk outta my face. Place was full of fatties, I remember hearing that this place was a refuge for hippos but I thought it was a myth. I guess they love that there is a burrito shop in the basement, easy access to heavy food! Probably 20% at least where whales, another 20% were porky, and then 20% were ugly hipsters.

I ran okay game on two prospects, broad from Waterloo was down by had to bounce when her friend cockblocked. It was easy to open up bitches there thought but I realize it's hard to run game on these young ass 19,20 year olds in the bar as they are just too dumb sometimes to get any vibe going.

Hoxton.

Also, Roosh, I just saw your Toronto reply video. That quote where you said "you guys are like a cult where any impure thought or dissent must be quashed" is DEAD ON.

There is no civil disagreement or difference of opinions. There is not even a condescending "I'm right and you're wrong". Instead, the mindset is, "I'm right and fuck you because your opinion is disgusting."

On glaring point that us Locals deal with that Roosh missed is the bullshit Liqour laws here. Nevermind 2am last call, how about having a easier time getting a bottle of Vodka in fuking Oman or Egypt on a Sunday evening then here in Toronto. Toronto the old sleepy Protestant outpost that did not start letting liquor be served on Sunday's till about 1994, still only lets you get a small window of 6hrs to get a bottle on Sundays. Because of this Sunday's are complete deadzones here in the City, not much happens, and not many opportunities to make things happen if you want to go out. Nothing can be spur of the moment here, in my old City classic game was luring a girl home with a fresh new bottle of Booze for the late night off sale. Yea you can have things stocked at home - but that is not always the case, especially if your going back to her place - but the spur of the moment stuff with a bottle you know you will both enjoy is key, you can't do that here when the LCBO closes at 8pm.

The consequence of this is that the LCBO runs the largest Liquor racket/monopoly on earth, to the point it would make Russian Mafia bosses blush. The LCBO is the largest importer of Liquor on earth and runs the largest distribution/wholesale network of Liquor on earth. Obscene amounts of money it makes (in 2011 it brought in nearly $5 Billion in sales) which goes to fund worthy projects like Women's Studies research and grants to build Unisex washrooms for Trannies.

Don't get me started on the LCBO. I hate the LCBO with a passion. It's unreal that in the 21st century we are only allowed to buy from government controlled stores at exorbitant prices. When I was down in Boston and Miami I was shocked to see everything 40-60% cheaper. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Buying a 26er (750ml) of Grey Goose for $28 ($50 here) and 1.75L of Sailor's Jerry Rum for $29 ($60 here) was :mindblown:

I hate that the LCBO thinks they need to control prices and promote "social responsibility" so they can charge us unreasonable prices. Even beer made in Canada is almost half-price in the US. A lot of people defend the LCBO saying, "Oh, look at the revenue they bring in for the government", but the Ontarian government is drowning in debt. Not only are we one of the highest taxed jurisdictions in North America, we also have one of the highest debts as well.

Honestly, well, maybe the LCBO and other taxes wouldn't piss me off if we had a balanced budget and weren't heading down the path of bankruptcy but we are in a double whammy here. Pay extra for everything AND suffer the same fate as many American States (which have lower taxes than Ontario).

TheSlayer - I refuse to buy alchohol here unless I have too, I always pick up bottles when I travel. LCBO made billions in profit last year and I think it is disgusting. I can't believe the clones here would actually defend them.

I try to stock-up as well whenever I visit the States or when my parents go down. Funny thing is my dad always bring bottles for himself so when they just go by themselves, I am out of luck .

Living here, I don't have much of a chance. I don't travel to the US enough to be able to avoid the LCBO. I love my alcohol but I am not an alcoholic neither do I need a government to control me and to prevent me from harming myself.

I have often had this talk with my friends. Whenever we are drinking, we usually buy a 26er for two people. A Barcardi is $24-26 (depending on what you get) vs. $14-$16 in say Boston or Miami. Just because we are able to save $10 on the bottle, doesn't mean we will buy more and get even more fucked. The LCBO preaches the mantra that price is a controlling factor in how much people drink. That is ridiculous bullshit and I don't know why Ontarians tolerate this. Worse than the LCBO is the Beer Store, which is another monopoly granted to foreign companies by the provincial government.

Agreed fully with you guys that the racket that the LCBO and the Beer Store run is totally disgusting. I worked at one time in the distant past for the provincial govt agency that controls both the LCBO/Beer Store as well as the liquor licensing for establishments wanting to sell booze in Ontario and let me tell you, the amount of cold hard cash getting in each day was simply outrageously obscene. I'm not going to say any more, but you guys get the picture.

Heck even in BKK, I was buying a big bottle of rum for half the price of what the LCBO sells it for.
