I must admit the Vice article is so weak that I don't even know if I should give a proper response. Maybe they rushed it to publication? I feel like I deserve better from such a big media site.

I never got above 300 users for that post. This broke 1000. So yes, many more visitors.

Actually Reddit didn't send hardly any traffic. By far most of it is from Facebook.

The article honestly sounds like it was written by a woman. I skipped over parts of it because it was laden with so much snark.

The Vice article is a cringeworthy piece of hipster white-knighting.

I attended university with two untermenschen now employed by this magazine, who were two the most comformist, predictable betas one could ever hope to encounter. But they were both very very talented at including the occasional 'fuck' or drug reference into their copy....how edgy.

Vice used to be a cool publication, but the gods of political correctness have started to take its toll on it. Vice nowadays is trying too hard to be more mainstream and as a result is getting to be a bore to read.
