A pro-freedom or pro-Ashli Babbitt rally took place in Sacramento and guess who decided to show up - Antifa. Why do they always need to hide their faces? If they were doing something they were proud of, they would not need the disguise(s).

The first part of the blurb announces it. The second part says that the goal is increased public safety. Like people falling off the stupid things and hurting themselves?

Nope. Last two sentences gives it up that the "riders" are stealing stuff from parked cars. Cowardly journalism. Just cowardly.

@onaturalia: The media tried to hide what actually happened here. This black guy drove around a mostly white neighborhood in Atlanta shooting every white person he saw. He shot three joggers and ran over one 21 year old guy getting mail from his mailbox.

Hiding this stuff only makes it worse. No one knows it's happening. No one is reacting to it. It's a war on white people and nobody wants to talk about it.

That is insane.

""Mental Health Issues" - the go-to in Europe whenever the race is being withheld from the public - because a hate-filled immigrant has murdered white people.

From the article: “The joggers described the shooter as a man with dreadlocks who was driving a newer model silver Hyundai sedan.”

At this point why do they even identify the perp as a man and not just an “individual”? These perfidious journalists, whoo boy.

In and around Compton, a 369 lb black man has been arrested for randomly attacking a woman, filling her car at a gas station. Apparently, there are at least two victims. Pretty cowardly to attack someone half your size or a third your size:

Man Arrested in Beating of Woman at Gardena Gas Station Set for First Court Appearance
A 369-pound man, who's accused in an unprovoked attack at a Gardena gas station that left a woman with face and head injuries, remains in county jail Monday and may be brought before a judge Tuesday.

No charges had been filed against Antoine Rainey as of late Monday, though jail records indicate the 37-year-old suspect is scheduled to be taken to the Compton courthouse on Tuesday.

Rainey was arrested Friday after being turned in by his mother, who saw footage of the attack aired on a newscast...

I think its picture #6, which says "follow sjw leaders". That kinda says it right. What was once a beautiful sculpture is now burnt, ugly, trashed and surrounded by a shanty-town of tents. A picture might be a thousand words, but, there's no doubt that if we follow sjw's this is what it leads too.

I lived in a major metro area that has had its share of racial unrest over the last year. I changed jobs to work in the suburbs from downtown and moved out into the exurbs to the point that if I drive 5 minutes I'm surrounded by farms. Charlottesville was the writing on the wall, in no way will people be allowed to defend themselves against the worst excesses of BLM or violent anarchists like Antifa in blue areas.

~80% of my friends are liberal, and many still live in the city. They wring their hands and post platitudes on social media every time some aspiring rapper decides to play real life GTA and dies over it. A couple are more involved than that, regularly attending protests and one is highly involved in that he has participated in multiple night time protests that devolved into rioting/looting. He says he doesn't participate in that but he does take pictures and operates a fairly successful instagram devoted to taking pictures of BLM adjacent protests.

In the last month, another black guy got killed by cops. Not unexpected given that he was a felon with an illegal gun who opened fire on the police. The difference with this one is that it happened block from where my friend lives. Now instead of driving across town to take pictures and leaving the carnage as he sees fit, he's stuck in the middle of it. Its at his front door.

He's dealt with people trying to start his apartment building on fire and laughing in his face as he told them families live there. He's watched some protestors beat another protestor within an inch of his life, leaving his unconscious body on the street bleeding from his head. Over what? The guy told them to stop trying to light other peoples homes on fire.

He sees the depths of this movement, in ways that few liberals do. He sees the mark of Cain on these people, so many don't want to improve things for blacks, they just hate whitey and want to see it all burn. He is in the process of getting red-pilled and I'm trying my best to help him along. He's not there yet, but paradigm shifts in beliefs and behavior take time.

Reality is reasserting itself and a lot of well-meaning liberals are about to awaken in a nightmare. Get yourselves and your families out of the blast radius if possible. We got a lot farther to go before we hit bottom but at the same time, if my leftwing activist of a friend is rethinking his involvement in the movement that has consumed his life for the last year, we might not have as far to go as I thought.

Meanwhile, while the "insurrectionists" are getting pilloried, put on no fly lists, blacklisted and if they could they would execute them on the spot, a truly violent rioter who burned a police station gets called a "good person" by a judge. Can anyone here imagine that level of "understanding" and wanting to make amends if the accused were a White male who burned a building for a conservative reason? This is such a sick country. https://nypost.com/2021/06/09/judge...on-a-good-person-who-made-a-terrible-mistake/

NYer here. I have been fortunate in the sense that when the pandemic hit, I have a place a few hours away in a more rural setting that I could escape to and so I did. The only point of being in NYC is convenience and when the pandemic struck and they shut down everything, it made zero sense for me to be in NYC on a personal level. I returned some months ago, not because I like NYC so much, but because I have an empty apartment and was getting more in the mood for just walking to places instead of having to really depend on driving everywhere. I never in my life have walked around outside with a mask, even during the worst days of the pandemic and nobody ever cared since I keep away from crowds anyway as much as I can. I only wear a mask if forced in a supermarket, etc

Yes, the city most definitely feels much much more unsafe. I remember I actually used to brag to Europeans that NYC was in fact safer and tougher on criminals than they were. Most of them agreed. NYC had far fewer pickpockets and random street muggings than London or Barcelona. That being said, as soon as they stopped stop and frisk due to changing demographics and an increasingly leftist mentality that infects this entire country, things went to hell. The moment you can no longer stop people and check if they have weapons, well...there's your massive increase in shootings that even terrorize normal people.

Then, nothing is being done about the homeless/vagrant crisis. They are all over the place in Manhattan and I stopped taking the subway last year for two reasons: 1) I got fed up with the delays and it really is unhealthy to be down there. 2) Now with the random stabbings and bail reform, we get criminals let loose on us with impunity. Unfortunately, the general public is so brainwashed and stupid that a lot of normies support the increasing assaults on law abiding citizens. I don't understand how you can love it here, honestly.

Yes, I get that a lot of things are convenient and you can find a lot of things here, but is it worth it? I am not of the mentality of packing my bags and "running away to a red state". Red states are not some kind of utopia as many think: a lot of "red states" are wastelands in other ways I am not going to get into here.

NYC can be manageable though or even NY state if you organize yourself properly. There are tons of far left freaks, but you can also find a lot of right thinking individuals if you join the right communities. Also, the main problems here job wise are taxation and the salaries are not as high as people tend to think. Getting that NYC income tax + state income tax really really really will destroy you if you make an average salary. This is why I do not pay NYC income tax because you can change your fiscal domicile, which is what I did. I also created my own company, which is not registered in NY state.

Actually, I'm one of the people who thinks the main problem in NYC population wise is all the new transplants from the middle of nowhere USA who were losers in their hometown and become even more freakish here. Most of the White far left loons you see are actually NOT from NYC originally. If you look up NY state as a whole, even democrats here were fairly moderate and OK with policing and cracked down on homeless vagrants. Dumblazio merely represents the continuing decline of this city, who also has a witch for a wife and uses his biracial children as a political weapon. I would never recommend this city to be a place to move to unless you were already here and making it. Eventually, I do want to leave (if there was ever massive civil/social unrest again, we are basically trapped here and I don't want to be stuck when the barbarians finally completely have their way). I am hoping to see a breakup of the country and then maybe we could start to think about "moving to" x or y. In the meantime, upstate is not so bad and there is a lot of land, etc.
I stayed, and am doing better than ever. I have an llc based in nyc and pay nyc and state taxes and would not make nearly as much as I would anywhere else.

Things are looking more like nyc now, the good nyc: more tourists, zillions of pedestrians enjoying the nice weather, not as many people walking around wearing face diapers outside.

I’m cautiously optimistic

That’s great to hear thank you sharing that, I love visiting NYC it makes me sad to think it’s not a place I could visit anymore.

What makes it even more confusing is the fact that at this stage, most of us (rightly) assume that a "jogger" is the default antagonist.

Not this time. Haha, jk! A father of three is murdered over a dispute on grass clippings. A 3 vs. 1, with 1 of the 3 armed with a submachine gun.

Man fatally shot over grass clippings dispute in St. Louis County, police say
St. Louis – The fiancée of 29-year-old Allen Waller says he was shot 4 times after a dispute erupted between him and his neighbor’s landscaper.

Sorry you pay so much in taxes haha. Why would you? Just curious. I have an LLC but it is not based in NYC (even though I live in NYC) but there is no chance I am going to voluntarily pay this awfully corrupt socialist state any taxes if I can help it (and I am doing everything legally). Is it because you do most business within NYC? I guess it depends on the business. I do online stuff and can charge the same wherever.

I beg to differ with you though on the "good" NYC: this city will get worse. I am totally against this whole "outdoor dining" business (cramping up the sidewalks) and all these transplants moving in and crowding up the city all the more when they could be doing the same job in whatever town they came from and probably living the same (financially speaking) due to COL. Crime is also unbelievably out of control. I have not seen this city in such a bad state since a very long time. Graffiti everywhere including formerly nice areas of Greenwich Village, wild out of control parties and disrespect to law in Washington Square Park (why do you think there is now a 10pm curfew, further curtailing our freedoms?) Also, face masks are STILL required in most supermarkets and businesses, so I am not sure about all the optimism. Kids in school will still be required to wear face masks as per corrupter and murderer of the elderly in chief Cuomo.

As for pedestrians, since I am not really a people person, the overcrowding is just annoying and godless at this point. Masses of consumers walking around aimlessly for the most part consuming at whatever globohomo corp they are told.

I wish you well though.
