I'm not sure why I became the target of your frustration because I agree with your points. I do take them seriously but I also poke fun at them.
I pray that these women turn their hearts to God. I asked my priest recently why there aren't more American blacks in Orthodoxy.
I know there's the Ethiopian schismatics but that's different. Apart from that is seems American blacks are missing from Orthodox churches.
Someone like Father Turbo Qualls is excellent for converting inner city blacks. He's a Godsend. Need more like him.

This was only about a month ago, and I vividly remember a couple of the derelicts. One was a crazy lady who was defacating on the street while people used the other side of the street. The other was one was who probably on drugs and shoeless while I was riding the train system. It upsets me those are the images I remember, even though I had a fairly good time

I’ve noticed this too. When eating store bought snacking food you want to destroy the whole bag. It would make sense that the tobacco guys have a hand in it.

At some point, I realized that processed food is truly engineered to be addictive. To be specific, food scientists and engineers tinker with the recipes, and then use taste testing panels to select the best result. In some ways, this is a perfectly understandable and innocent process, but the ultimate outcome is that recipes get tweaked to have the highest levels of sodium, sugar, and msg, and are also tweaked to optimize the texture and seasoning, to result in foods that make you want to eat them until you're stuffed.
Food "scientists"? I'd say that the people that develop the junk foods that you and @KulturedKaveman speak of are more akin to "food witch-doctors."
But, yeah, totally agree with your comment. As somebody once pointed out to me, the Big Three flavour enhancers are salt, sugar, and fat. Even processed foods billed as "healthy" by reducing one of the Three generally compensate by upping at least one of the other two.

In the end none of this is complicated. Just look at the statistics for autism, sperm count, autoimmune diseases, cancer, depression, etc. etc. ALL of them have been steadily increasing over the past half century. We are systematically being poisoned throughout our lives, starting with the toxic cocktail called 'baby formula' and ending with hospital food just before they drop us into the ground.
People need to wake up and finally realize what has been taken from them. Which is pretty much everything: average health, a clean environment (rivers, lakes, ocean, soil, freshwater, etc.), average happiness (the majority of people are on anti depressants), cultural integrity, election integrity and the validity of your vote as a citizen, public safety, an economic future, a stable currency, a functioning public infrastructure... should I continue?
Sometimes I feel like I am surrounded by NPCs who know the price of everything but the value of nothing....
