Reports from American cities

“Police officials said the 18-year-old gunman, who is white, was wearing body armour and military-style clothing when he pulled up and opened fire at people at a Tops Friendly Market, the shooting streamed via a camera affixed to the man's helmet.”

Lol suddenly we know what his motivation was.
He is possibly a fellow-white.

Ap news article: ‘A bullet hit the gunman’s bulletproof armor but had no effect, Gramaglia said.’

They just needed a reason to start the campaign against body armor and couldn’t help but fuel anti-white hate while they’re at it.

So they made this happen. Predictable incident. Predictable coverage. Predictable outcome.

Can’t they think outside the box anymore?

I see these kinds of things, but I don't know what people expected to be done. It's one thing to know a Muslim immigrant that makes radical posts online is also hanging out with known radicals and in communication with terrorist organizations. They ought to deport people like this, although of course they don't.

However, in the case of a minor suspected of having made statements about shooting people, what can they really do? Lock him up permanently based on suspicion alone? Put him under permanent surveillance so you can catch him gathering weapons and making plans, and stop it before it happens?

I think the left would love to have powers like these, and then apply them to every one of us for doing things like saying Christ is King. It's always the classic problem. The only way to catch a mass killer before they actually act is to lock them up the first time anyone has the slightest suspicion, or to take away all his privacy the first time anybody has the slightest suspicion. This will result in the abuse of 1000 people's rights for every mass shooter that is actually dissuaded. If these kind of invasive laws were passed, they would be used for wrong thinking people almost exclusively, and probably wouldn't even be used for actual cases of potential shooters.

(((Something))) about his phenotype seems not quite white to me.

Definitely a false flag.
I’m skeptical that events like these are “false flags.” I can see someone being goaded into committing violence but I generally don’t think these random occurrences are fake or some kind of setup, we just live in a godless society. The media, on the other hand, has their coverage of these events planned like a military operation. The orders are to ignore the violence or sweep it aside until the target population comes into their sights and then it’s nonstop coverage and “time for change.”

I watched the video on Rumble. I will not link it, but it is easy to find. The first two he shot looked white to me, perhaps light Latino. It did not look like a hunt for black people, just random whoever was in his path.

If the rest of the USA's psychiatric wards and/or mental institutions didn't shut down, then we wouldn't have a lot of mass shootings. The shooter should have belonged in a mental institution.

From the late Walter E. Williams, "Closing Mental Institutions Made Us More Vulnerable to Mass Shootings":
A liberal-created failure that goes entirely ignored is the left’s harmful agenda for society’s most vulnerable people—the mentally ill.
Starting in the 1970s, advocates for closing mental hospitals argued that because of the availability of new psychotropic drugs, people with mental illness could live among the rest of the population in an unrestrained natural setting.

According to a 2013 Wall Street Journal article by Dr. E. Fuller Torrey, founder of the Treatment Advocacy Center, titled “Fifty Years of Failing America’s Mentally Ill,” shutting down mental hospitals didn’t turn out the way advocates promised.

Several studies summarized by the Treatment Advocacy Center show that untreated mentally ill are responsible for 10 percent of homicides (and a higher percentage of the mass killings). They are 20 percent of jail and prison inmates and more than 30 percent of the homeless.
Torrey says it has now become politically correct to claim that this federal program failed because not enough centers were funded and not enough money was spent. But that’s not true. Torrey says:

Altogether, the annual total public funds for the support and treatment of mentally ill individuals is now more than $140 billion. The equivalent expenditure in 1963 when President John F. Kennedy proposed the [community mental health centers] program was $1 billion, or about $10 billion in today’s dollars. Even allowing for the increase in U.S. population, what we are getting for this 14-fold increase in spending is a disgrace.

The dollar cost of this liberal vision of deinstitutionalization of mentally ill people is a relatively small part of the burden placed on society.

Many innocent people have been assaulted, robbed, and murdered by mentally ill people. Businesspeople and their customers have had to cope with the nuisance created by the mentally ill.

The police response to misbehavior and crime committed by the mentally ill is to arrest them. Thus, they are put in jeopardy of mistreatment by hardened criminals in the nation’s jails and prisons.

Worst of all is the fact that the liberals who engineered the shutting down of mental institutions have never been held accountable for their folly.

Without needing to know any details of the case I can tell you without hesitation that my opinion is the following: more good guys with guns is a better solution to this than more gun control, more mental hospitals, or any grand scheme to alter the course of our society at this point.

The video is almost seven minutes long, and the first five minutes are him driving around looking for the store. The video cuts off after he has shot about seven people at the front of the store. Right before it cuts off, he apologizes for almost shooting one of the cashiers, who appears to be white or hispanic, who was cowering behind one of the checkout counters. I was hoping it would show his exchange of fire with the security guard, because I read that the security guard got at least one hit on the shooter before being incapacitated. It may have happened right before the video cut off, but it's unclear.

From a self-defense perspective, the video shows that if you hear shooting when you're in a public place, it's not always a good idea to hit the ground where you are. In the video, the shooter pumps several rounds into the people he sees taking cover on the floor. If they had immediately sprinted for the back of the store, they may have survived.

On another note, I'm curious as to what the US government's reaction will be to this video being available on Rumble. I remember that New Zealand seriously tried to prosecute anyone who watched that mosque shooting video a few years ago.

Edit.

From the late Walter E. Williams, "Closing Mental Institutions Made Us More Vulnerable to Mass Shootings":

If the Left hadnt been for generations actually and purposely destroying society’s sense of community in favor of a replacement reliance on Daddy Fed Gubment many of these types of tragedies would likely be prevented. Not all of them but some of the issues would be viewed locally as “our problem “ and nipped in the bud

Guess we can call him the Ctrl+V killer. Have we found out if he had any psychotropic drug prescriptions yet?

This was a real violent weekend. Milwaukee cancelled public viewings of Bucks playoff games after 21 were shot.

Asian man shot up a Taiwanese Presbyterian church in So Cal.

Agreed. The media is starting to lose control a bit. Asians in California called them out early on during the pandemic because other minorities were running wild on them, and it could not be covered up. Just search "hate attack" now and a majority of the results are black on minority crimes committed in major cities. The usefulness there however is they can pump the data and at the end of the year claim hate crimes are skyrocketing while conveniently attributing it all to whites.

However, in the case of a minor suspected of having made statements about shooting people, what can they really do? Lock him up permanently based on suspicion alone? Put him under permanent surveillance so you can catch him gathering weapons and making plans, and stop it before it happens?

This is why I am dissuaded from blaming law enforcement following these incidents unless the facts show there was some reckless action taken. (Like the coward deputy in Florida or the school that did not check the students backpack for gun when they were told he had one.)
I rather we not erode the 4th Amendment further.

Most people do not have access to juvenile court records, but I can assure you that things have changed drastically over the last decade. The ironic part, from my experience, is that rural and heavy-red counties are much likelier to charge juveniles for making threats than the larger blue-metro counties. These cases are usually frivolous, annoying, and perhaps the only good thing brought out of them is that the state takes a closer look at why the family is producing such idiocy.

I would support charging parents and expanding their legal liability, similar to what is being done in Michigan, but make sure it encapsulated all the "youths" driven crime. Put a hard criminal liability on being an incompetent single mother. I promise that locking up useless single mothers would be cheaper in the long run than allowing them to breed while subsidizing their out-of-jail living.

Yep, this is similar in Chicago. I'll often fly overseas through O'Hare and take the blue line up to the airport from Union Station.

Many times I'll get hit up for cash in the stairway or at the turnstiles, but I give off a vibe that it'd be better to leave me alone. (You guys know what I'm talking about)

I'm hyper aware of my surroundings, but not neurotic. After the last time on the train, I'm done with that way of traveling. It's a complete crap show and I no longer feel safe riding during the day even. I feel like I AM the white guy on the train and things could pop off at any time. The people are rude and disgusting to a level I've never seen.

I'll just fly to JFK or LAX direct and stay in the airport.

What happened to our country?
