While weve been occupied, our government sneakily wrote into law that as of april 30, all aged care workers must have flu shots or they wont be allowed to work.

Now my wife, who has been in aged care for several years is going to become ineligible to continue in her job, since she refuses to have their silly shot. I know many are pro-vaccine here, and to them it wont be a big deal, but we just cant allow anyone to dictate what you do with your own body. Its the true embodiment of the "my body, my choice" argument, without the sophistry.

We will be fine on my income alone, but big pharma is about to get a massive payday from all those who cant financially afford to hold sovereignty of their own bodies.

I've got quite a few friends in the healthcare field I'd like to share this information with. Do you have a link ?

Sadly from what I've seen it's not the police and clerks and government officials you have to "resist", it's your neighbors and community full of bored busybodies with nothing better to do than to regulate your behaviour to make themselves feel like they are saving the planet.

Went around with no mask? You'll be the target of gossip and ridicule.
Kept your shop open? Some local concerned citizen will report to police and convince others not to shop there.
Went for a run with a buddy? Some mother scared for her children will rat you out for not keeping distance and making her feel "unsafe".

Resisting an authority figure may be easier than going up against the people in your community.

Use an analytical approach. Take a step back, and tell them that they are a slave. Maybe not outright, but I certainly will not stand around and let henpecking simps make a mockery out of me. I will keep doing what I'm doing and the more I do, the more others around me join in or resume what they want to do. In the very least you can tell them they are wrong, and that sowing mistrust between neighbors doesn't benefit you or them, but only power-hungry elites.

The only way of breaking this recent social paradigm is going full force on waking up the normies that we are all lied to, there is no conceding ground anymore. Its dissent or slavery.

I identify as someone wearing a mask.

Sorry, my point appears to have goine over your head. I wear a mask too, but government cant ALLOW abortion and REQUIRE masks; there is either choice or there is not.

Said differently, tying masks to choice illustrates the absurdity of government's position on both issues (masks and abortion).

That's OK. I got the reference. But if you're going to stick at that point then I might note that the government requires you to wear pants, at least in most places that I'm aware of. Abortion law and requiring masks to be worn is not really the same thing.

Anyhow, it occurred to me to ask, if someone is going to refuse to wear a mask while shopping as a form of protest then obviously they will not limit the amount of times they attend the shop by buying in bulk for example, because the attendance is kind of the point.

But if someone were simply refusing to wear the mask on principle and wasn't particularly interested in the protest aspect then it might pay to have your groceries delivered or start buying in larger quantities.

An alternative measure would be to wear a mask that fulfils the demands of the establishment in question but does so in a manner of protest. A mask with a picture of sewn up lips on it or the bolded word "oppression" for example.

As I noted elsewhere, this is going to be hard in capitalist America because people vigorously defend the right of a business not to serve someone if they don't want to.

The law as I see it is only being enforced on people who they think care about laws. Or people that appear to have things to lose from being ticketed or arrested. One of the things I noticed is that there are very few stories of homeless being arrestied or ticketed for breaking quarantine laws. As such, if I was in an environment which had strict stay at home orders, I would appear to look homeless and just go about my day walking the streets or parks. It wouldn't even be that hard to appear homeless, assuming you didn't shave for a few days or let your beard be unkempt. Hair would be easy as you could not shampoo it and let it look messy or just wear a old, dirty looking hat. Then just wear over-sized and or ripped clothes that are unfashionable along with dirty looking shoes. If the police stopped me I would only give them my ID if they asked for it, then reply "I don't want to talk about it" if they asked further personal questions. It would be a possibility of course that you may get a ticket or be arrested but I suspect it would be much less likely than them doing that to a normal looking citizen. Most likely, they will not want to get close to a homeless person because someone who appears to be living on the street would be assumed to be unclean and a carrier of coronavirus. Also, the local police departments would not view ticketing or arresting homeless as a good method for control of citizens since putting all their man hours and attention to them would prevent them from going after the majority of normal citizens. This whole episode is about control over the majority and taking actions against the homeless does nothing to work towards that aim.

Expect more protests.

Outside the tri-state area, this virus has been one big joke.

There's definitely quite a divide between the large metro areas of each state vs. the more rural areas of these states in terms of infection.

Currently, I have been working from home remotely since mid-March, just saw a news bulletin via my employer's intranet. Specifically, related to this New York State Governor's latest COVID-19 announcements.

Amid Ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, Governor Cuomo Issues Executive Order Requiring All People in New York to Wear Masks or Face Coverings in Public
* State Will Begin Conducting Antibody Tests Prioritizing Frontline Workers Beginning This Week -2,000 Tests Per Day Using a Finger Prick Test
* Announces State Will Give 100 Ventilators to Michigan and 50 Ventilators to Maryland
* Issues Executive Order Requiring Nursing Homes to Inform Family Members of Residents of COVID-19 Cases
* Issues Executive Order Allowing Individuals Assisting with COVID-19 Response to Stay in a Hotel in New York City for More Than 28 Days without Becoming a Tenant
* SUNY and CUNY Colleges Using 3D Printers to Produce Personal Protective Equipment for Frontline Medical Workers
* Confirms 11,571 Additional Coronavirus Cases in New York State - Bringing Statewide Total to 213,779; New Cases in 43 Counties

Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced he will issue an Executive Order requiring all people in New York to wear a mask or a face covering when out in public and in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained, such as on public transportation. The Executive Order will go into effect on Friday, April 17th.

Governor Cuomo also announced the state will begin conducting antibody tests, prioritizing frontline health care workers, first responders and other essential workers, beginning this week. Using a new finger prick method the state will test up to 2,000 New Yorkers per day. The state is also asking the FDA for expedited approval of a finger prick antibody test that could test up to 100,000 New Yorkers a day. Additionally, the state is continuing to engage with other partners including hospital labs and private companies to bring mass antibody testing to scale statewide.

The Governor also announced the state will give 100 ventilators to Michigan and 50 ventilators to Maryland.

The Governor will also issue an Executive Order requiring nursing homes to report positive COVID-19 cases and deaths to the families of those who are living in the nursing home facility within 24 hours. The order will include adult home and other assisted living facilities. Previously, State Department of Health issued guidance asking these facilities to communicate this information to families; this new order makes that guidance mandatory.

The Governor will also issue an Executive Order allowing individuals assisting with the COVID-19 response or individuals who have been displaced due to COVID-19 to stay in a hotel in New York City for more than 28 days without becoming a tenant.

Heck no...I am not going to wear a face mask in public in a small town/village where there such a low number of positive cases.

According to scientific studies, the flu shot makes you 36% more vulnerable to contracting coronavirus due to phenomenon known as viral interference:

The flu shot is scientifically proven to be dangerous!

Attending Mass is going to be the breaking point for most people. Nobody is interested in doing some sort of abortive Mass from the seat of their car in an otherwise empty parking lot.

Christians are patient, civil people but there are limits. If these luciferian sociopaths plan on basically banning the practice of Orthodox and Catholic Christianity into the second half of this year then the average Communion receiver is going to see this less as a reasonable measure in response to the virus and more as form of modern technocratic persecution of the faithful.

Aptly there is no middle ground I can see that can be reached on this issue. Social distancing is incompatible with holding Mass and receiving Communion. Whether the architects of this crisis understood these implications fully is uncertain but I really don't see this matter remaining quiet into July.

The US Catholic Church is cucked inside and out and will do absolutely nothing. The government said Catholics cannot gather and worship and the Church meekly agreed and even offered total dispensation to all Catholics who watch mass from home.

In fairness, all Orthodox churches performed the same action.

I have never worn a mask. But in California it is still optional. However, when I went to Mexico, some corrupt cops used it as an excuse to search me. However, when I gave them my ID I put my money in my hands.

The "my body my choice" thing applies more to vaccines than it does to masks. Bodily integrity is one of our God-given human rights.

The fact that they want to force vaccines kills the whole vaccine narrative anyway. If the vaccines really work, then how is someone vaccinated at risk because someone else isn't?
