Resisting against coronavirus laws

I was challenged on my mask non-compliance for the first time yesterday. I went into a large national chain to conduct a brief bit of business. The worker behind the encounter asked how she could help and I stated my business. She came over to help me and the following exchange took place:

Worker: Would you like one of these? [meekly extends her hand holding a flimsy blue subjugation mask]
Me: No
Worker: You're in [the city in which I live]. It's required.
Me: Cool!

I then stood there and looked at her. She scurried off to retrieve my item, we exchanged money and change, we wished each other a nice day, and then I left.

That's all it takes and that's all it would have taken to end this madness in the spring of 2020. I admit my wrongdoing in participating in mask subjugation in the early days, but I hope to expiate my sins through unwavering non-compliance regardless of the consequences. We must all resist in whatever form we can. No masks, no injections, no standing in little circles on the floor, no hand sanitizer — none of it!

It's heartening to see people disregarding mask nonsense and strengthens my resolve to do the same. We must be willing to be chastised, insulted, scorned, vilified, and barred. There's a lot of inconvenience in store for us, but we must remain true to our principles. Let us not forget that the actions we're taking are not mere selfish glorifications of ego and pride, but instead are for the benefit of every single person in our civilization, including our enemies who wish death and worse upon us every day.

In my state, there was always a medical exception in the mandates regarding mask wearing. I scoured the first mask mandate back in April 2020 looking for a"loophole" because I knew I would not be wearing a mask, I considered that crossing a line. The first week it was instituted, there were armed guards at the supermarket enforcing it. I used the words from the mandates "it inhibits my health" due to x, y, z. They let me pass. For the next 9 months, I was the only person not wearing a mask in the supermarket except for one time, a black girl in her 20s who understood the same info. I went up to her and fist bumped about it, it was quite a moment of solidarity. This was before all the George Floyd madness.

I think most states allow a medical exception written into the demonic mandate if people would only read the entire mandate. If a place didn't respect this, I would point out that they were violating the governor's orders, which of course was true.

Adding for perspective: in the states I've been in who have removed their mandates businesses that insist on masks won't allow any exemptions. So in a way it made things worse. Before you could show up and at least half of businesses would let you in without a mask because you had an exemption. Now you can get into places but certain industries deny you entry no matter what because there are no longer any exemptions through the law. Doctors, banks, and cultural institutions (museums, etc) are the most likely to deny entry in non-mandate states.

This is my last resort. If it comes down to it, I will cite a medical exemption as you've described and I even have documentation to support it, but in a way I feel this is weaseling out of it. My preference is to show that I just disregard the command as a matter of principle and logic. I'm not hiding behind any legal loophole - I'm not wearing the subjugation mask because I refuse to be subjugated. That should be reason enough. I say it's better to challenge these low level $15/hr minions and see how far they're willing to take it.

I'm fully prepared to remind proprietors about the consequences of ADA violations if I must (especially in smaller shops where the potential cost of the penalty exceeds the value of all the merchandise in the store), but I think we need more resistance based on conscientious objection to the pointless charade of mask wearing and to the more general principle of which it is but a small manifestation. Not only are mask mandates a form of enslavement, they are very harmful to your health, they take away one's humanity, they deprive people of proper social interactions, they are traumatizing for children, and perhaps worst of all they are a preliminary step to soften up a compliant populace for more dangerous and oppressive measures. If you play along to get along you are supporting all of these evils.

Also remember that proudly and confidently disregarding the rules gives courage to others to do the same. You can also show people that there's no need to be crippled by fear. You're doing them all a favor. Don't forget to remind them what a smiling human face looks like. Think of how many people have not seen one in person for a year or more and how that might affect them.

I've decided to take responsibility for my part in perpetuating the psychosis that surrounds us, and I can no longer participate in good conscience. If I'm ejected from one commercial establishment, I'll simply go to another or another, until the time when I'm as close to self-sufficiency as possible.

Same experience here. Except I never get asked anymore. Seems like most people are done with it. Although I see more mask wearers than before. In the beginning I still saw a lot without. Now everybody except minorities seem to wear it.

Agreed, I was talking about the early days of the mandate in 2020. No one in 2021 has said a word to me about not wearing a mask.

Regardless of legal loopholes or simply disregarding outright tyranny, I'm as defiant in a compliant state as humanly possible.
