A similar thing happened in Toronto, though she only killed one person. She fled the scene and attempted to get ger car repaired, i.e. cover up the crime and destroy evidence. She got caught. I predict she'll get off with time served: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/fatal-hit-and-run-new-brunswick-woman-1.4355334 "Toronto police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old woman in relation to the hit and run death of a 63-year-old New Brunswick woman in North York earlier this month. The Toronto woman faces the following charges: Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death. Failure to remain at the scene of an accident causing death. Obstruction of police. The collision happened on Oct. 4 shortly after 11 p.m. on York Mills Road, west of Don Mills Road. Police find vehicle in hit and run that killed pedestrian It's alleged that the woman was driving westbound on York Mills Road when she drove up onto the north sidewalk and struck Debbie Graves, 63, who was walking back to a hotel after dinner out with a co-worker. The driver did not stop at the scene. Debbie Graves 'She was a devoted wife and mother,' Debbie Graves' obituary reads. Graves was visiting from Riverview, N.B., when she was killed. In an online obituary, Graves is remembered as a creative woman who loved gardening and sewing, and was "a devoted wife and mother." "She was at her happiest during time spent with her family," the obituary reads. On Oct. 11, police seized the vehicle that they believe hit Graves from an auto body shop. It was registered to a 28-year-old who was not co-operating with investigators, police said at the time. The alleged driver is expected in court Monday morning at Old City Hall. " Here's the gal. WB based on this photo.
