Is there a meme of Colin Kapernick kneeling on Floyd George's neck yet?

I'm sure somebody's made one by now.

Aloha!

The militarized police state is not hard to understand. The Deep State’s primary goal for 2020 is to prevent in-person voting. The Doom Virus was their big play, but many people flaunted the rules and didn’t care. Now when they do Doom Virus part 2, which will start a few months before the election in November, there will be military on every block to make sure nobody goes to vote in person (because of the Doom and whatnot).

I keep trying to explain to people that Trump is being outplayed and badly. He is stuck in reaction instead of taking initiative, which has been the case for three and a half years, and is of course the overarching goal of all the Deep State idiocy we’ve had to deal with in that time. It’s not about individual issues, it’s about keeping Trump on defense. And it’s working. He is not smart enough to understand what’s happening, and he surrounded himself with swamp goblins that, for some reason that I myself fail to understand, he listens to and takes advice from.

Are you surprised?
Or upset?
Or both?

In addition. How are you preparing for this doomsday scenario?

Was talking to a relative today who worked a similar role to Michael, but also in prisons, and he doesn't agree with my earlier assessment about the cop (which was that he was probably following protocol and thought it was just another typical guy pulled over who was lying about not being able to breathe, and then the guy unfortunately died). He thinks the cop was completely not following any protocol he's heard of. He said the rule is to meet force with force, and there was no reason for him to be restraining his neck with his knee, even if it wasn't all his weight. The situation was not that tense. He thought it was weird that the guy was staring at the camera. He thinks the guy did the act deliberately, that he's probably in on it in some way, and that it's part of a coordinated plan being executed across the country. One goal of which is to get Trump out of office.

Kind of a surprising discussion as this guy is a conventional rural Christian conservative.

I've been questioning for several years if your view or Leonard's is right on this. Leonard, if I understand him properly, thinks Trump is in on it. I'm partial to your view, as, the deep state weirdness has been intense since the first two weeks of Trump's presidency. It's been unlike anything I've seen in politics in the last 50 years. I think they really want Trump gone and are trying to create as much instability as possible to achieve that and to divert people's minds from Biden's dementia. What better for the oligarchs than to have a John Gill-style puppet (Star Trek reference) in office like Biden.

The only thing that gives pause about Trump is that what the Republicans are up to makes no sense at all. They just keep inviting in a million people a year who will vote 75-25 against them, which makes no strategic sense. It could be that they are double agents, but perhaps they just have normalcy bias and like the paychecks they get from the open borders crowd.

I do not buy the Bad Jared / Good Donald thing. It's another variant of that 1930s communist lament: "If Stalin only knew" that his minions were murdering good people! (The Soviet archives revealed that he knew very well.) The same was going on in the 1980s Reagan White House, where men like Mike Deaver and Jim Baker supposedly getting in Reagan's ear and foiling his better instincts.

You sound pretty confident regarding a topic that not only involves a President's normal activities (much of which are already top secret) but also the deep state (which is beyond that). Although these are reasonable assumptions, unless you have some form of evidence to back it up, there's no reason for you to be speaking authoritatively and talking down to others about it.

Don't worry too much either way. There's no prize for being right about that. Whether Trump is a phony or simply impotent results in the same thing. As the late WRSA blog used to say, "nobody is coming to save you". You are on your own, so go and find some friends whose loyalty is not in question and whom the value of your loyalty in return is not wasted.

The only stupid move at this point is not bothering to do anything because you firmly believe Trump is going to save the day.

Establishment Republicans are just members of the Uniparty. The right side of the Overton window.
