Has anybody checked up on this guy in a while? It's been a few months since I last looked at his Twitter account, but I pulled it up tonight only to find this as his profile description:
Some of his recent Tweets repeat this idea, too. He seemed like he was on board the Trump train when I first got linked to him here, but now it seems like he's really gone off the deep end. This is a weird thing to troll about, if that's what he's doing. Any ideas about what's going on with him now?

Not a thread I expected to run into here. I've met Robert a few times, we get along just fine.
There is a great deal of trouble with the Travis County Republican Party. The books did not balance prior to Robert becoming chairman and the issues are still going on. Personally, I am very annoyed with them and the way they have NOT been representing rank and file Republicans.
Many of the folks in charge have been blaming the order of names on the ballot for his victory. Yeah, yeah, they want Preparation-H for their butthurt. James Dickey didn't bother to do any campaigning while Robert Morrow did, not a lot, but some name recognition is better than none. The turnout for the Republican Primary in Travis County, as well as the rest of Texas was record breaking with a huge number of first time primary voters. The ordinary Republicans are sick and tired of how badly the leadership has been representing them.
I know a number of folks on the Executive Committee of the Travis County Republican Party. I'm not the only person who is trying to change how they operate, which is badly. I'm doing what I can to channel my inner asshole and push them to do what I want, actually be Conservative.

Morrow seems to have his politics in the right place, but the guy needs some discipline. If the cause is important enough for him to invest his time and resources, he's got to be serious enough not to undermine it. There is a time for being a shitlord, and a time for being a leader. He should not squander what he's earned and the trust of those who voted for him.

Lots of those people were and are liberals IN THE TRUE SENSE of that word. They believe in live and let live, free speech, and free markets. They got involved largely because of Doctor Paul.
Good for Rob if they balance the books because of him.
