Is it possible for you publish the videos without having a specific number of minutes? If you put 5 minutes in every video, I think you will be making some contents quiet short, not having a specific time will let you explore more of a subject.

By the way, your previous crib looked better than this one, right?

I think short videos are superior to long ones, at least for readers. People who can read fast prefer to avoid videos to save time. Plus, in the internet age, most people have the attention span of a shoefly.

Great message Roosh.

A man can't start fixing his life if he doesn't identify what needs fixing.

Good video Roosh, it's funny i'm a young guy with the exact same attitude and people are always making comments as to why I am the way I am. They never seem worry about themselves however.

I resonate with this [Roosh's] video a lot.

All the new age obsession with positivity is just opium, consolation.

Life is neither positive nor negative, it's just what it is.

I was just talking to my girl the other day about this. There is this obsession in L.A. right now that makes me want to puke, of constant positive affirmation and outward displays of gratitude. Sounds good on paper but in person these loonies just come across as cult followers. At work, people ask me completely random shit that does not put me out in the least, yet they end the exchange with several "Thank you"s. Seems a bit petty to bitch about that but it takes away the significance of genuine gratitude, and after dealing with such people on a regular basis it makes you thirsty for genuine human interaction.

Most everything we do in life is in effort to eradicate some type of negative.

Netzsche said, "Happiness is nothing more than the removal of the negative"

Trouble is, that happiness is short lived, because when ever we are successful in removing a certain negative in our life a new type of negative replaces it, one that's born out of our action to get rid of the previous negative. So it's never eradicated, it merely changes form.

Is it possible to get rid of the negative? Probably not, but if we can see the nature of it and why it exists, and how it will always be there in one form or another then it may not cause us as any pain.

What causes the pain is really our own demand we shouldn't have to suffer.

Take any current negative in our lives that vexes us and the pain can be traced back to an internal demand that life be a certain way. The seeing of this leads to a freeing from it.

New one on my Youtube plan:

Personally I haven't done much with YouTube but definitely check out the YouTube Playbook for some tips.

Here's a few ideas.

For converting your popular articles, be sure to keep SEO in mind and possibly make the titles more SEO friendly by looking at the most popular keywords driving traffic so they show up as videos in web search results.

Try hosting a giveaway somehow? Anyone who makes a video about why they like your blog/forum/Youtube is entered to win a copy of all your books? Or maybe everyone who makes a video just gets your latest book or their choice of a book?

Interact with other YouTubers and possibly interview them. (Philko?)

Fuck Troy. He's goin down.

Roosh,

If you are going to be a talking head I believe using slide shows and either speaking over them during certain points or being behind you on a green screen would be hilarious and interesting.

Examples could include infamous memes and gifs around here.

Become the pure honesty man's view Tosh.0 on the web with out having to be a clown. Your dry wit could work well with some imagery to aid you.

Guys always like seeing hot girls, or making fun of dregs. People enjoy seeing pictures and video of far off places while learning about them.

RE: How to go from 5,000 to 50,000 subscribers

You may have to "earn" your subscriber base, so to speak. Your eventual goal may be to be able to crank out easy talking head videos to a subscriber base that already values your insights and has developed some kind of appreciation of your charisma, but in order to get to that point I think some "flashy" content may be necessary in the beginning.

Think of the Simple Pickup guys. At this point they get mad views for any video they post up, even when its just random stream of consciousness rambling. But nobody would pay any attention to a scrawny Indian nerd or funny looking Asian kid talking if they hadn't build a level of notoriety in the beginning by doing a ton of high intensity, attention grabbing stunts. Just my two cents.

Is it wise to draw attention to your plans? The general public is quite much like the female hamster - it wants thing to "just happen", not to be explained in detail how it's going to happen ;-)

I'm personally against the Youtube business as all Youtube does is cater to comedians and to edgy sub cultures. A podcast might be much more beneficial for getting ideological points across, but that's just me.

Roosh,

I would like to see your Youtube channel become more personal. I think many travel bloggers do a great job of using their Youtube videos to showcase how they live. You should do something similar. I would like to see some videos like these on your Youtube channel:

*MTV Cribs style videos showcasing you apartments with a backstory on how you found the place.

*A packing list video showing how you travel.

*Possibly a style video showing a few of your favorite things to wear day/night

*A video detailing how you use cooking to seduce a girl, etc.

*General tourist videos of the cities you stay in with local music (may be more applicable to Latin America w/ music)

Just some suggestions. I know you said no infield, which is fine because that is seemingly played out.

To get more subscribers steal other people subscribers(Network).

The easiest way to do is interviewers I would recommend starting a Interview and or Debate series. Have Skype interviews with people with a bigger fan-base than yours. Host Skype debates or group discussion on topics you think will do well.

The goal being to get there fan-base interested in you, same reason why musicians do features other people song.
