Ruth Ginsburg Dead

This is actually a Babylon Bee article.

Yes, but with the agenda the NBA and other big sports businesses have been promoting in recent years, people had every reason to believe the story.

1. The judge's robe is a uniform, not an outfit.
2. Ginsburg was passive aggressive and wore special collars to indicate dissent or approval. Childish.

Ginsburg talked about wearing the collars in a video. The robes were traditionally designed to show a man's tie. She wore the collars so that someone would not see that she was missing a man's tie. They basically allowed her to still dress like a woman. The collars started with Justice O'Connor and Ginsburg adopted that practice from O'Connor.

I give her credit for still dressing like a woman. The feminists from yesteryear wore dresses and bows in their hair. The feminists of today have short bobbed hairstyles and wear pants.

A little known fact about Plan B and similar pills is that it doesn't "prevent fertilization", it simply prevents ovulation. If ovulation has already occurred, it will not do anything.

That makes it both less morally repugnant (no fetus is being killed, contrary to popular opinion) and more pointless (since its severe side effects are most often suffered for no benefit at all).
The primary function of Plan B and bc pills is to stop ovulation. However, the secondary function is to thin the uterus. This is a back up in case ovulation has occurred, making implantation of a fertilized egg impossible. So Plan B and bc pills are still abortifacients and are still morally wicked, as they cause the unborn baby to die from a lack of nutrients. It is time that we all call abortion of all forms what it really is. Murder. The unborn should have the same rights as born people, and going forward, the penalty for killing the unborn should be the same as killing a born child. For anyone reading this who has participated in killing a baby by abortion, do not despair. There is forgiveness for the sin of abortion and new life in Christ for those who truly repent.

Jessie, I don't think that is true. The claim about "thinning the uterus" is mostly wishful thinking based on how contraceptive pills work (if taken continuously for a long amount of time!) and hasn't been proven by studies. In fact, studies have consistently shown that pregnancy rates of Plan B taken after ovulation are the same as if nothing at all was taken:

What the FDA Labeling Says
According to product labels, Plan B works mainly by preventing/delaying ovulation or by avoiding fertilization (by altering the movement of sperm and/or egg).

The debate arises from the next part of the label which, under "mechanism of action," reads: “In addition, it [Plan B] may inhibit implantation (by altering the endometrium).”1 However, newer research findings have been inconsistent with that finding.

The medical community is divided on the definition of pregnancy. The legal definition of pregnancy "encompasses the period of time from implantation until delivery." Yet those who hold personal viewpoints that pregnancy starts at fertilization believe that Plan B is akin to abortion since its use can prevent implantation of a fertilized egg.

That being said, research does not support this theory about how Plan B works. In fact, studies show that when taken after ovulation, Plan B does not decrease the rate of pregnancy.

What Research Shows

The majority of the research reveals that using Plan B does not cause any changes in the lining of the uterus (endometrium). Because Plan B does not have any effect on the endometrium, researchers have concluded that this emergency contraceptive cannot prevent implantation of a fertilized egg.

Many researchers have further explained the notion that Plan B does not stop implantation from occurring is probably the reason that it's not 100 percent effective at preventing an unintended pregnancy, as well as why Plan B is less effective the longer you wait to use it.

Research shows Plan B does not cause any changes in the lining of the uterus and therefore would not prevent implantation of a fertilized egg.

The article above pertains to USA since that's where the FDA has allowed these false claims, but in most of Europe, equivalents of Plan B pills carry a clear warning that they may not be effective if ovulation has already occurred, most likely to protect the manufacturers from fraudulent claim lawsuits.

I'm not contesting that abortion and Plan B are evil, of course, just that Plan B's horrible side effects are most often suffered for the mere fantasy of killing the fertilized egg.

It says in the package insert that it does.

Correct. Plan B is a uterus flush.
