Nah, we are in late stages capitalism. HBO doesn't need us to subscribe to their filth. I mean, maybe for HBO and the corporation to survive they do. But the top rung of HBO need much more to pump out filth and degeneracy than to make a profit. Doing so secures low rate interest loans with the satanic bankers and if it does bankrupt their company they will be fine. The little guys on the bottom not so much but they don't care.
With all this said, there will be plenty of lost souls who will purchase this filth. It is like NASCAR and their anti-white Bubba Wallace driver in his BLM and their rankings tanking by more than 1/2 of the last 2 years. They don't need ratings, they need loans from the satanic bankers to tell them to push this filth.
Ya I've never understood conservatives patting themselves on the back and regurgitating "go woke, go broke". Exactly which of these demonic leftist companies have ever gone under? I was curious to see if this is as bad as everyone says. They were basing that on the trailer, but I wanted to see the actual show.
I downloaded the first one and only got through about 15 minutes.
It's didn't offend me, although I suppose it was trying to. But it couldn't even manage to do that cause it's just the same lazy, uninspired, foul-mouthed, formulaic, predictable, cookie cutter slop as everything Hollywood has churned out for the last 10-15 years.
It's written by a woman, and all the "jokes" are the same repetitive and stale "shock humor" that "female comedians" have been pushing for decades. "Ha ha, we say 'fuck' a lot." "Oh my god, I'm such a slut, I had so much sex last night." "I have a gay best friend and he's so bitchy." "I ruined my life cause I got married and had a kid."
Yawn. Is that the best you got?
The character design is intentionally ugly, like all animated features have been for decades, whether it's for adult animation (hideous characters in that other Jew sex-obsessed cartoon "Big Mouth") or stuff for kids ("Mitchells vs Machines," anything from the Cal Arts department of animation). Animation used to be a beautiful art form. Now it's just ugly people making ugly looking drawings of even uglier people.
The main Jew, voiced by the always obnoxious Sarah Silverman, is the character we're supposed to care about and root for, apparently. But she's drawn really ugly on purpose. Giant hook nose, unkempt kinky hair, ugly gap between her front teeth. And of course the first word out of her mouth is "fuck" and she continues to repeat it ad-nauseam. I will never understand this insistence on intentionally ugly characters. And this whole thing was made by Jews, for Jews. So why make the main character look like the happy merchant? Got me.
Anyway, this uninspired worn-out cliche is already getting more attention than it ever deserves. It will be forgotten in a week, and should be. It's not "satanic" or "subversive"....it's just boring and pathetic. It's just proof that women don't have an ounce of creativity or humor. All they know how to do is complain and use potty language.
I'm not gonna waste any time being "outraged" by something so sad and limp. I'm just gonna forget about it, and I'm sure the rest of the world will too as soon as clickbaity youtubers that need outrage for their videos move on to the next thing.

To be fair, how many of those people giving a negative score actually watched it? I think you need to watch at least 20 minutes of a TV show/movie before giving it a score. I have no plans to watch it personally though. The trailer alone convinced me it is garbage.

With all that said, I think there's a issue with demonizing Christmas, which unfortunately now occurs every year. And this issue needs to be dealt with because it causes undue suffering. People live for the Christmas holiday. They find comfort and joy in this blessed time. It takes a special kind of reprehensible person to deliberately undermine people and during a time where they're in such high expectations. To the silvermen's of the world, they see such people are vulnerable, which makes them easy targets for ridicule.

At this point, any time a "conservative" says "get woke, go broke" it is almost a demoralization/keep them on the GOP plantation play. Okay boys, lets boycott ____. Then their supporters dutifully boycott ____ and they don't go out of business. They may not look under the hood to see that they dropped the profits in half and the company is struggling, the banks will keep them afloat. This demoralizes the conservative base and makes them question if the "woke" isn't so bad after all. I had a number of Jewish friends in high school, of whom 2 were actually religious. All are/were flaming leftists except for one who was a flaming leftist and then became a huge Trump fan...not surprisingly he was one of the 2 observant ones.

Please understand that most of the religious Jews do not care what the Torah/Old Testament teaches. They only care about what the Talmud teaches and what the Talmud teaches is not pretty. I just finished reading the book "Born to Kvetch" and wrote a review about it in the "Book Review" thread which explains this. Modern Judaism is younger than Christianity, it isn't the same as the ancient Hebrew religion. The book, "Judaism's Strange Gods" by Michael Hoffman is extremely helpful in understanding this matter.
