Ahh, yes, the (((Federalist Society))) that picks all our Supreme Court nominees. What a conservative and rock ribbed institution it is! Not!
Federalist Society Vice President Leonard A. Leo and President Eugene B. Meyer. This pic is 14 years old. They are considerably more grizzled looking now. The guys at the FTN podcast reveal a sinister fact about the US Supreme Court that should be common knowledge to all Americans, but isn’t.

The bizarre thing about this ruling is that it totally ignores the law, when the Supreme Court is only supposed to make decisions on what is currently legal or not according to code.
One of the people in this case was a skydiving instructor, who strapped himself to a woman and told her "don't worry-I'm gay!" as a way to calm her nerves about being that close to a strange man. I don't think this man should have lost his job over that. But there is clearly no law that prevents it. The civil rights act of 1964 enumerates what is protected: race, color, religion, sex, national origin. 5 things only.
There are some other groups that it may make sense to add to that group (what about familial status?). But the 5 groups above are the only groups protected under the law. If we want to protect gays or trannies from losing their job, then we pass the Gay and Tranny Job Protection Bill of 2020 and Donald Trump can parade around talking about how he is their best and greatest defender. That is how our system of government is supposed to work. This latest ruling shows that rule of law is all but gone in America and we will soon become as corrupt and arbitrary as the banana republic nations we used to ridicule.
In third grade our class enacted a courtroom project where I played the role of judge. Someone tried to bring the teacher up on some charge (I think to get rid of her and just have anarchy and recess all day). After a long hearing that lasted the entire day, I presented my ruling: There is no law that this teacher has broken, and therefore she is not guilty. Not a popular ruling with the all white class to exonerate the black female teacher but since they forgot to pass any laws, it was the correct one. Today I guess one would have to just rule on feels.
