You can definitely cross that line - they just did and are mostly getting praised for the video.
I don't see any doxxing campaigns out for the people who released that video, or any attempts to cancel them & ruin their careers, or any reports that they're getting frequent threats from anyone, or any extensive vandalism done to any of the facilities that house the SF Gay Men's Chorus. (Disclaimer - only mentioning these things as hypotheticals, no advocacy here, it would seriously be a horrible shame if any of it happened!)
You're free to get upset, this video angered me too. But keep in mind that these people hate you, and you getting upset not only makes them extremely happy...it motivates them. Really disappointed by all of the people in this thread saying we need to temper our reactions - "don't overreact." There almost isn't a way to overreact to this. Saint Emperor Justinian had homosexuals publicly flayed. We're not government officials with that power given to us by God so we can't physically hurt them of course, but they are literally coming for your children and you're standing there trying to be civilized. It's like I said in another thread: why are we getting blamed for the way we react, when there's a clear side that is not only sinning through inciting their neighbors to anger, but also through their very acts of degeneracy? Every minute that a Christian preaches at me about "not overreacting" and "being civil" is a minute that Christian could instead be preaching at the people doing this stuff that is stirring people to anger in the first place. Those people love, love, love to lecture people like you and me about not overreacting, but when it comes to trying to get the other side to stop pushing buttons, suddenly it's all radio silence.
Maybe the fact that we're not reacting at all is why those people feel comfortable with giving us the moral lectures and not the other side which just immediately cancels them if they even as much say one moralizing word against them? We Christians with our long-suffering patience and temperance sure are very easy to criticize, berate, and otherwise make yourself feel very morally smug and superior over.
I just wish all the energy spent in telling Christians to not stand up and take back their Christian society was spent in proselytizing those who need it more: those who are doing all these things in the first place. Seriously though, the Church is the one club in the world where you're belittled by its own members for joining. And Churchians wonder why attendance at their churches is falling. It's all "you're a sinner, sinner, sinner, repent now even though you're here precisely because you already repented and believed in the Lord, but you're still awful." They may not word it that way, but it definitely feels that way.
There's just so much energy spent at preaching to the choir that it's draining the net amount of energy spent in making disciples from among the sodomites that want to rape your kids. I'm 33. I remember when I was a kid there were all these oh-these-poor-gays campaigns. They can't even exist! (It's a lot of the same propaganda campaigns for "trans" stuff, like these insane claims that trans people are murdered constantly, except most people know at least one gay person, while I don't know any of the former personally)
I think stuff like that was the cultural turning point for normies. Women are especially susceptible to things like that; same reason one is sympathetic to special needs people.
Gays double down and infiltrate institutions when there's a measure of secrecy. Look at someone like Roy Cohn or J. Edgar Hoover, or why religious institutions have a lot of crypto-gays.
Protect your family but don't give them any fuel. That's what I mean when I say don't "over-react." It's easy to take stuff out of context these days. It's like someone irritating you the point where you punch them, and then call you the abuser.
The problem in this scenario isn't so much the narcissist as it is the authorities that like to side with the narcissist against you. Growing up, that was one of the things I definitely noticed in the schooling system. I noticed that the teachers and principals didn't like having to do the legwork of investigating who started what. They just punish whoever they saw throwing the punch. The few based teachers who did side against the narcissist because they knew the narcissist was a narcissist were such a breath of fresh air, and it was always funny to see the narcissist act shocked and surprised when that happened. How could those teachers ever side against me? I wasn't the one that threw the punch!
But this system in the schools has probably led to the conditioning of the general public to believe that any and all backlash is wrong, and that the narcissist is always right.
Or: to use another example. A lot of people realize a lot of the anti-vaxx stuff coming out now is disinformation, designed to provoke fear, lower moral, and cause a massive over-reaction to false claims-- I think a lot of the 5G stuff is in this category. Faster systems are needed if everything is remote. We're probably in some kind of transistion period right now like we were in the late 90s.
