A man challenged me to a fight over a public restroom today.
Came up to an occupied public restroom and waited outside for several minutes. I could hear the guy inside flipping through tiktok videos on his phone so I knocked on the door to let him know someone was waiting. Several minutes later he comes out in a rage over me rushing him and tries getting in my face to start a confrontation. I had neither the time nor the desire to fight over a toilet and pushed past him to do my business. I could hear him outside yelling about how he'll be waiting for me when I come out and I'd better be ready, but he was gone by the time I was finished. (And it didn't take me 15 minutes, either!) The whole thing reeked of teenage boy posturing. This dude was white and looked to be late-30s/early-40s and was dressed like an electrician or some other type of tradesman so I'd expect him to have some level of maturity and courtesy.

^Not to knock on the trades as a career, or any of the good tradesmen, but many of them will throw temper tantrums when things don't go their way. Lots of man babies trying to look tough.

Can Intel really spare $300 million just to reduce the productivity and quality of their work force? Is that kind of money so easy to come by that they don't need to invest it in product development, or marketing, or strategic acquisitions?

It does appear that it's probably a golem they've created that will play a part in their destruction. From what I can see diversity was achieved in past years by hiring people into low positions, completely made up positions and in internships. It was something they could afford during easy money days. Now it seems they have to have these people in supervisor, management and maybe executive positions.
This victim hierarchy is a powerful golem. It's hard to see how it's creators don't end up being its primary target.
