While I'm not surprised that people would sell out to some branch of the deep state, I'm always a little disappointed at how cheaply they appear to be bought for. A lot of people just roll over for a scratch on the belly and a sense of insiderdom from Uncle Sam or his regional equivalent before inevitably being disposed of like a used condom when they're no longer fit for purpose.

I'm not one of those guys that beats his chest about how he represents the bedrock of incorruptibility, but honestly my price would be pretty damn high. We're talking multiple helper monkeys high, and that's just for starters.

Founder of Leftist “Fact Check” Website Snopes Accused of Serial Rape by Second Wife​

David Mikkelson, the founder of left-wing “fact check” website Snopes, has been accused of serial rape by his second wife Elyssa Young, who alleges her husband routinely sexually assaulted her while she was asleep during their relationship.

Young made the allegation in a Facebook post earlier this month.

Former Snopes employees have indicated that Mikkelson was aware of his own plagiarism, encouraging the site’s writers to do the same thing.

Mikkelson’s first wife alleged in divorce proceedings that the Snopes founder had embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars in proceeds from the site to hire prostitutes.

It’s not clear if Young and Mikkelson are still married, although Young describes herself as separated from the progressive media executive.
