A lot of people just roll over for a scratch on the belly and a sense of insiderdom from Uncle Sam or his regional equivalent before inevitably being disposed of like a used condom when they're no longer fit for purpose. I'm not one of those guys that beats his chest about how he represents the bedrock of incorruptibility, but honestly my price would be pretty damn high.
