Deep state getting back at AMLO's Mexico for going off the plantation:

Never been to TJ, but even Vegas is slow at 0600.

Respectfully disagree. It's in the cartel's and Mexico's interests to not condemn Russia and further the development of a multipolar world. In that future, the U.S. will get weaker and more fractured faster. Opening opportunities to reconquer CA, TX, and the rest of the southwest as far north as the Lee's Ferry/Page, AZ.

Young German journalist Alina Lipp has been targeted by her government, her bank account frozen. Not only this, but they also went as far as freezing her parents' bank accounts, and threatening them with jailtime... Here is Alina with her mother, they both fled to Russia:

With the end of basic utilities as of this month all across Ukraine, I can see the diaspora into the EU and beyond becoming stateless minority, like gypsies- just exponentially more tolerable, if you will.

There's definitely nothing to go back to in the Ukraine now.

The awkward part will be walking that fine line of looking, sounding, and behaving like a Russian while in a homo country that thinks of all Russians as demon-spawn.

Now, of course, modern white Europeans are supposed to be tolerant, discerning, agreeable people and not... you know, forget and get these mixed up. The issue is the EU is now filled with ignorant, hot-headed immigrants from the equator, as well as the looming long term economic distress from the sanctions that will affect everybody (and their inhibition).

In theory, Ukrainian refugees will have a prime status, but an economic basket case of a bloc, and an ever escalating policies against Belarussians and Russians, I think Uke families are going to feeling like they must walk on eggshells everywhere they go. The suspicion and paranoia will start bleeding through.

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka has won the Australian Open. However, there was no appearance of her national flag, as she was forced to enter as a neutral player.

Unlike for the previous winners, only her name was engraved on the trophy, not her country.

USA Boxing Executive Director Mike McAtee listed many factors that led to the decision, including IBA governance issues, financial irregularities and transparency and that Russian and Belarusian boxers are allowed to compete with their flags.
IBA lifted its ban on Russian and Belarusian boxers in October and said it would allow their flags and anthems to return, too.

Personal anecdote about some recent, unexpected russophobia:
Met a Thai girl this evening for dinner. Conversation moved to hobbies and I mentioned that I was teaching myself Russian. Her face darkened and she muttered in broken English 'I don't like Russian, hope they all disappear from world'.
I said, a bit shocked, 'isn't it a bit unfair to blame a whole population based on the actions of their government? What about Australia's role in invading Iraq, should we be hated for that?' Turns out she had never heard of the Iraq war.
It was extremely odd hearing an otherwise apolitical, unworldly Thai girl express xenophobia towards a people based on a war that could not have less to do with their country - demonstrates how far the propaganda has spread.

If Thai's hate China, and the Chinese like Russia, then it kinda makes sense.

Nice anecdote there. Human nature brutally meets liberal logic, beats and rapes it, and leaves it bleeding out to die in the ditch. Your appeals to "unfairness" and the "fallacy" of generalization are vestiges of a liberal worldview that still remain in you. This is how the rest of the world operates. Family and nation before all else. There is no "fraternity of mankind" or any such nonsense among them. Even if she doesn't personally have a reason to hate Russia, she will hate Russia because it is not Thailand, and if she is told that Russia is the greatest evil, she will believe it because it justifies her view that Russia is the Other, that Russia exists in competition with the Thai in a zero-sum game. Even your beloved land of Australia is little more than a momentarily, beneficial, thing to be used and exploited by her and her kind until it is no longer useful to do so.

The liberal worldview, as taught by the "Enlightenment", is little more than the foolish quest to recognize Christ where He is not.
