I think I get it now; There is an element of Russiaphobia... but that is not the actual goal... the current situation is actually a future planned for each individual if they do not do things the globohomo wants them to do.

The is the first time sanctions have been to this extent where private companies and goverments are working hand in hand. Russia has gone against globohomo, it is cut from banking all over the world; their access to Western communications via social media and television are cut off... they're access to entertainment is cut off...

Globohomo plans to implement individualized biometric IDs tied to a central bank digital currency so that they can do everything they are doing to Russia to any individual who does not do what they want.

The cancellation is all out and all encompassing. It's something to the extent and at a detail level I've never seen before. Some examples, but the myriad is too extensive to cover, it's endless:

If you're a Russian handicapped sporter, an artist, a football player, a film maker, a brilliant orchestra leader, student, or the Russian equivalent of Joe Smoe, you're out buddy, you're out. All of them, all of them! I thought corona has hit the top of insanity, but I've to put my seatbelts on as we're going more to insanity la la land by the day.

Russian Blues should not be confused with British Blues (which are not a distinct breed, but rather a British Shorthair with a blue coat as the British Shorthair breed itself comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns), nor the Chartreux or Korat which are two other naturally occurring breeds of blue cats, although they have similar traits.
...if you own one of these you're a traitor!

A teacher friend who teaches Grade One had to intervene when one of her students was offering candy to other students who were willing to beat up the Russian student in her class. The same child told the Russian child that God was going to kill his in his sleep. We're talking six year old children here.

Add Spain to the anti-Russian culture brigade.

People in Quebec are renaming the official provincial dish due to Putin. Apparently Putin in French is Poutine.

What I find worrysome isn't the big corporations and global institutions dropping Russians everywhere, but the lower level tier organizations, like this Spanish ballet theatre, or your local restaurant. That's what's really worrysome: that is the state of your global/Western population in real time there. It's truly amazin and in all fairness the respect I had for people before corona keeps eroding in real time as well, man what a deep level of descend have we reached and are we reaching.

Meanwhile it is unthinkably racist to prevent Chinese people with strong ties to China from being employed with full access to our most sensitive projects.

Russia and Belarus, both the nations and individual double-plus ungood players are being banned from tournaments and chess federations. Russia is hands down the best nation in chess by the way. The latest player to get canceled is Grandmaster Sergey Karjakin, who supports his country. Frustrating pettiness. In a sport that should bring out the best in people, no less. I don't see how you can blame anyone for supporting their own nation.

The Norway Chess and London Chess Classic tournaments as well as the Grand Chess Tour have decided not to invite GM Sergey Karjakin to their tournaments anymore as the Russian GM continues to support Russia's warfare in Ukraine. Also this week, the Russian and Belarusian federations were suspended by the European Chess Union.

Also earlier, several dozen prominent Russian chess players condemned the war - I wonder how many of them really were neutral but didn't want to get canceled by lucrative chess tournaments and federations.

If Russia is really banned from international athletic competition now, it goes without saying that all victories and medals anyone else wins have an * next to them.

Oh boy.

Can you imagine if Russians were dominantly black people or a minority and that the normies would react the same?

It's interesting that the same type of people who loves to dedicate their whole lives to defend muslims after a muslim terror attack and like to pose themselves as being good anti-racists, are now bloodthirsty hysterical to target innocent Russians.
Now when our leaders and media have given them a free card to discriminate against Russians they're going absolute full blown racists. Even banning Russians players from a virtual video hockey game isn't where it ends, that's not enough.

And just imagine the reaction if you banned a muslim from taking part in a sports event just like people call for Ovechkin to get banned from the NHL now?

I thought the fastest way out of this is for Putin to borrow some of Trudeau's face paint.
Just think Obama bombed 7 countries in 8 years and the libs couldn't get enough.

As a Swedish resident I notice every other Swede puts a Ukraine flag on their fakebook profile. I think is particularly amusing when it comes to Swedes, a country in which gang war on the streets is routine. The same liberal Swedes who won't lift a finger for their country out of fear of being called racist are now Ukrainian nationalists. I guess it's easier to be a nationalist for other people.

A German Medical Clinic apparently refusing to treat Russian patients.

I checked German newspapers for context. Apparently, the enquiry was regarding Russian patients that in Russia and want to go to Germany for special treatment. They had some kind of cooperation going on with that clinic. However, now the clinic will no longer accept them. The reasoning was that due to the sanctions there aren't any flights to Germany, people can only carry €10,000 with them which wouldn't be enough for the treatment. Plus, their credit cards wouldn't work abroad so there would be no way for them to pay. I'm just providing some context.

So they claim that Russians living in Europe/Germany can still go there for treatment.

That is not the reasoning given in the email.

During the communist era, conservatives were the patriotic russophobes. Today, the liberals have become the russophobes and vehement liberal nationalists. What a change in dynamics. This means there are two Russias - the Soviet one, which creeps out conservative Christians, and the Orthodox one, which creeps out the entire liberal West. Most westerners are therefore now backwards projecting that the Old Soviet rule is coming back, when in actuality it is Orthodox Russia emerging (whereas modern Ukraine is a Soviet leftover).
