They are hard on Russia because of rumors that Russia fixed the election and got Trump in office. We know that the leftists have the most power in the media and universities and they are happy for an excuse to punish Russians for getting Trump in power. Also, Russians are white and this makes them safe to cancel.

Of course, tolerant Americans have done this before with Germans and Japanese in the world wars and Russians in the 1950's during the Red Scare. At least Asians are safe now because they are non-white and all non-whites are good (unless they openly support conservative candidates of course-then they are white supremacists even if they are black).

Tribalism can be illogical in many ways. But as I posted in the Russiaphobia thread. This happened to Germans in WWI outside Germany too regardless of their individual guilt.

No, that's western clothing. Specifically, generic quasi soulless clothing that is produced by the corporation, and promoted by massive propoganda advertisements.

Real Slavic clothing is like what the Streltsy, Hussars, and Cossacks wore:
embroidered shirt tied at the waist, baggy pants, boots, knee-length trench coat, fur hat.

I think that such clothing is better than what Western European men wore during the "Enlightenment", powdered wigs with bows, pantyhose tights, short skirts, and high heels, shaved face, and makeup on face and lips. To me it just looks gay. They were pushing the rainbow agenda even way back then. Because it was during the "Enlightenment" that they worked to demolish traditional, conservative values, the Christian religion, and introduce liberalism. Peter I "the Great" did an incredible disservice to us by banning the traditional Russian clothing in favor of Western stuff. God bless the 19th century Tsars for bringing the Russian clothing back, and also having such a strong influence onto Western Europe that they started to dress like real men and grow beards again finally. But alas, Russia had fallen and the Western Europeans have revered to their old habits again.

Seriously, take a single look at this and tell me if this looks like trans clothing to you. It wouldn't look out of place in a modern Hollyweird woke fashion show!

In Russia we also had a Warrior Aristocracy. They were the knights, bogatyrs, who fought in the Kulikovo battle. Even the Knyazi and Boyari, various nobles fought in the battle as common soldiers, not as social parasites. They were respected because they were part of the civil society, and formed it's back bone. They did not consider themselves as something separate from the civil society, they did not look down on the common people. They belonged to good ancient families.



The demise of the Warrior Aristocracy in Russia was by several hits. The first hit were the purges of Ivan IV, who wanted to remove the Warrior Aristocracy because he wanted to build his own police state instead, to become an absolute dictator. Similar path took Peter I (who was replaced by look alike during his trip), for the same reason because the aristocracy were the back bone of the Russian civil society and posed a threat to his power. The third hit was the massacre of the Russian Aristocracy Hussars during the battle of Borodino. They were placed in the middle of the field by Kutuzov, without any fortifications or trenches. Then Bonoparte slaughtered them using his artillery. The final hit was during the Russian Civil War, where the vast majority of the Russian Warrior Aristocracy supported the White Army, and were completely demolished by the commies.

We live in the "Enlightenment" version 2. The secularism and rejection of tradition and spirituality, pushing of liberal ideologies, emasculation, weird clothing, occultism, attempting to justify crazy policies with catch phrases of "rationality" and "equality", where in fact there is none. And even the kind of attitude. "Let them eat cake" vs "Let them own nothing and be happy". Do you see a parallel?

And the position of Russia is also similar. Russia is trying to retake the Ukraine historical Russian lands after suffering multiple defeats, while the elites are consuming the western culture, and the common people live in relative poverty, and traditional Russian culture is marginalized by liberals.

So they assigned a different book to each student, and I was given the book "The Most Dangerous Game", which is depicting an entirely fabricated made up story about a Russian White Army general who allegedly lived on an island and hunted people as animals. As usual in the western, the Orthodox Russian man is the bad guy. This assignment was offensive to me.

Russophobia is definitely sucked with mother's milk by your average westerner, especially anglos.

First time I felt animosity from an anglo when one american girl told me that "it sucked" that I was from Russia. And this was many years ago.

Another guy once told me jokingly that he is going to buy a baseball bat, and fly to the Baltics to beat up Russians.

One senior character I once worked with told to my face "my mom always said all Russians are pigs".

And there were quite a few times when someone would learn about my ethnicity and then start going on an anti-Putin rant.

This is not to show how much of a victim I am, just sharing my first hand experiences.

I believe this is due to the fact that the collective West went on a conquering, ravaging spree throughout the planet subjugation lands and coloured people without much resistance.

But they were never able to understand or conquer Russia, always fearing its size and its people who seem odd to them with their strange ways of being. Even Orthodoxy appeared as a something rather barbaric to a European.

I doubt this cultural war that from time to time turns into physical between Rus and the West will ever end.

We are too incompatible on so many levels.

Haha, that reminds me of this one time that I was at the gas station in an unfamiliar town. The employee, an arrogant disrespectful woman, tried to cheat me on gas money. When I recounted and confronted her to give me back the change, she angrily yelled at me, "Go back to Russia", and lifted her arm up like that armband guy. I laughed in her face, then went to my car, got out the carpet under my feet at the front seat, and beat the dust out of the carpet in front of the entrance to the gas station. And there was this elderly Mexican man who gave me both thumbs up.

What a thing to say to someone who was actually born "around here" in the agglomeration.

I think that Orthodox Slavs are more relatable to for example traditional (like 1910s) Christians Germans, and their American counterparts. I have encountered good attitudes from Amish people, old school German immigrants, conservative Mexicans, and just traditional Christians Americans. Whereas western liberals almost always exhibit negative attitudes. Because traditional Christians Americans are also starting to get similar treatment from the western liberals.

Even Orthodoxy appeared as a something rather barbaric to a European.

Traditional Central Europeans and Eastern Europeans I think have much in common. Germans are good people. Even our Tsar Nikolai II was ethnic German. It's just the armband guy who screwed everything up. Germans and Slavs should have united together, WWI was a grave mistake.

Red pilled anglos are different. I have been able to find common language with people like them. Unfortunately they are few and far between.

Saying you are Ukrainian will be a good way to get social benefits just like pretending you are Hispanic (which is easy to do because many Hispanics look 'white') if asked. The kind of people that ask will likely not know the difference and you can get by as long as you have a basic story and know a couple basic facts about Ukraine.

Sadly, Ukrainian is not a racial choice on job applications. Maybe in the future, this can be added as a special category.
