So who has received their stimulus check thread? I have not. I haven't even received my tax refund yet.

If you haven't done taxes yet, make sure to select direct deposit when you do so you don't have to wait weeks on end for your stimulus check. Also might want to file electronically instead of via snail mail.

I got muh Trump bux. I will most likely be investing it. Still waiting on the tax refund, and will most likely invest that too.

It is pretty tempting though to spend it on Cheetos, booze, weed, lotto tickets and Bernie so he can buy another house. Match me!

I didn't get mine since I always owe money (so they don't have my direct deposit info).

I haven't even done my taxes for 2019 yet and don't plan on doing them until July, 15th 2020 when the new deadline is.

I owe more than the stimulus, so it doesn't benefit me to file early. Will see if I can update my bank info over the weekend on the stimulus website and get it direct deposited early, or else I am going to have to wait for the check in the mail to come in a few months.

If I was getting it, which I'm not (Thanks Trump!) I would be spending it on the lamest stuff imaginable. Just because it's free money.

In Canada we got Trudeau Bucks, but I'm working so don't get any.

Talked to someone today who is feeling restless and wants to go work in Agriculture, problem is they wouldn't make barely any more than sitting at home.

I don't get a stimulus check, but I'm ok with that. I figure I've gotten $50k worth of free samples and rubber gloves and bandaids and ear-cleaner-outers I steal when I'm waiting at the VA.

My 18 year old nephew is one of these people that got his money deposited into the wrong account. There is absolutely nothing you can do. Everything is closed. You have to wait for a letter to come and then respond that way.

A girl that works for me still gets the "unable to process at this time" message. Nothing you can do there either. She's really stressed.

It's really stupid that a program the government created in the first place has caused more confusion and angst in an incredibly angsty time.

Seems everyone around me is getting $2k worth of Trudeaus but instead I got some strange cheque for $235 from the Big Daddy.

I gave it over to a buddy to buy us more THC oil.

The edible market is pretty damn good right now! Business is booming, can't keep up. Have to rush order more packaging on Monday.

A lot of people are going to get boned next year when they realize that $2K Unemployment is actually taxable (which in BC means it's truly only $1650CAD)

Apparently the total number is at 7M getting the Trudeaus (18% of Canadian population WTF), with auto approvals no way a lot of that are actually "legitimate", CRA is going to have a field day
