I agree with a lot of what you say here. Our culture tries to sell "individualism" to a lot of people that would, deep down inside, probably feel more comfortable being the followers. But, most girls are just too stupid to realize that getting a tattoo is a permanent commitment to a fad. Even though they know they are going to get old, they are drunk on power, and their erroneous, in the moment judgment makes them think they are going to be young and attractive for ever.

But, I'd argue that a core tenet of liberalism is that all men are sentient beings, not dogs, and, given the opportunities, we can potentially improve ourselves. And this is why we all need access to education, and basic necessities.. so we can have some options.
