Its actually a useful enough way of avoiding ghetto people on holidays in warmer climates - just steer clear of the inked up chavs.
If it wasn't for this class aspect to it I'd say the right tattoo can look good on a guy in his 20s in good shape. But they look universally awful on a 50 year old white collar professional at a beach with his family...so they're just not worth it, really.
Be luckly you don't live on the West Coast of the U.S. People without tattoos are the outsiders. Many women who otherwise dress nicely (short skirts, heels, nice hair, makeup) have them too which messes up the symmetry. As bitchy as some East Coast girls can be, thank god that this isn't as common here.

Hahahahahaha! Now you mentioned one of the reasons why I want to leave CA. Tattoos everywhere and I'm one of the few young bucks who doesn't have tattoos. Off to Texas or Minnesota I go.![]()
The results were striking: When women wore tattoos they were solicited by men 23.67 percent of the time, but when the same women didn't wear tattoos they were solicited just 10 percent of the time. Men also made faster contact with the women who had a tattoo than with women who didn't, an average of 23.61 and 34.78 minutes, respectively. (That's a difference of more than 11 minutes.)

Women with tattoos get approached more.

The Reactionary Tree said:Just rehashing what the senior members have said. Tattoos signal trashiness, promiscuity, impulsiveness, etc.
One discrete tattoo may be cute or naughty but once you are getting more than one, its no longer cute.
The more tattoos they have, the worse they signal all of the above negative qualities. It is 10x worse if the tattoos are still visible while they woman is clothed.
Just imagine how fucking ridiculous these women are going to look once they are over the age of 30. It really does show a massive lack in thinking about the future. I mean just imagine some 50yo woman with a chest tattoo, tattoo arm sleeves, a tramp stamp, and face/neck tattoos. Just awful.
I do not have tattoos. I never want to get a tattoo. I have always viewed them as trashy & low class (no offense to the tatted RVFers) but even more so when women do it. Really only bikers, convicts, and soldiers should be wearing tattoos. If you are not one of those, then you are just LARPing if you have a large number of tattoos.
