So the most sex have gays, followed by heterosexual relationships and last are lesbians. Putting together two women who only once per month for a few days experience a similar sex drive as men, well that does not bode well.
Purely from a logical viewpoint they will have less sex. The problem becomes worse as many of them are overweight, which curbs their sexual appetite even more.
Now - even if gays have more sex than heterosexual couples, that in itself does not mean that their "unions" are superior. Most of them have the majority of their sex with other men beside their "husbands".

It's kind of reassuring that most lesbians are fat, as there is a small but growing segment of very attractive younger women going lez. Hopefully it will remain marginal.
