The abortion thread

CALM IN THE FACE OF EVIL: Students for Life activist Jessica Newell maintained her composure after an abortion activist wished her harm: „Why don’t we just let her get raped, pregnant, and forced to have a…be a mother?“ The exchange took place at the Women’s March in Washington, DC, on Saturday. „I hope you guys have a good day,“ responded Newell.

The eyes of the woman with glasses are the proof that she is possessed by demons.

Pro-abortion group firebombs Catholic cathedral in Bogotá

On September 28, a group of pro-abortion women firebombed and attempted to burn down the doors of the Catholic Primatial Cathedral in Bogotá, Colombia, and sprayed pro-abortion graffiti on the walls. According to the Catholic News Agency, officials from the mayor’s office were present and took no action to stop the attack.

The pro-abortion group was taking part in the Day for the Decriminalization and Legalization of Abortion, and its members demanded abortion be expanded in Colombia. Abortion was legalized in the nation on February 21 when the Constitutional Court decriminalized abortion prior to 24 weeks — creating the least restrictive abortion laws in Latin America.

“We reject all forms of violence in actions and words, we demand civility on the part of the promoters and participants of marches and protests, we ask the authorities to guarantee the life, honor, and property of citizens,” the Archdiocese of Bogotá said in a statement on September 29.

The Archdiocese was joined in its condemnation of the arson and vandalism by United for Life, the Catholic Solidarity Movement, and pro-life members of Congress.

“We reject the acts of violence and intolerance that occurred yesterday by a group of marchers in defense of abortion. The attacks against believers and the attempted incineration of the doors of the Primatial Cathedral of Colombia are unacceptable,” said the Pro-life Caucus of the Colombian Congress.

The Catholic Solidarity Movement said that Mayor Claudia López has “dismantled the reaction capacity of the police,” allowing the attack to take place. “When a crime such as murder by abortion, which is in the Penal Code, is legitimized, these young women believe that they can commit any other crime,” said the group.

The group planned to file a complaint against the pro-abortion women “for the alleged crimes of damage to the property of others, rioting, damage to the public good, disrespect for beliefs, vandalism, terrorism, attempted murder, [and] conspiracy to commit a crime.”

According to the director of the National Police, General Henry Sanabria, four women were taken into custody.

Geez...A former abortion doctor explained how each medical instrument works during an abortion procedure. Note the audience's reaction. Note: Video is old.

I almost felt ill after watching that video. That is the best most concise anti abortion argument I have ever seen. Every woman who gets an abortion should be forced to watch that video before they receive the abortion.

British Parliament OKs 2-Year Prison Term for Praying Outside Abortion Clinics

SPUC has slammed a vote to impose buffer zones around abortion clinics, calling it an “outrageous assault on civil liberties”.
New Clause 11 to the Public Order Bill, was approved by MP by 297 votes to 110. It will create so-called “buffer zones” around abortion facilities, and make it illegal to interfere “with any person’s decision to access, provide, or facilitate the provision of abortion services in that buffer zone” – an offence punishable by up to 2 years in prison.
The amendment was originally tabled by Rupa Huq MP, but after she was suspended from the Labour party while she is investigated for racism against former Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, it was instead moved by Labour MP Stella Creasy.

“A black day for democracy and basic civil liberties”

Alithea Williams, SPUC’s Public Policy Manager, said: “This is a black day for democracy and basic civil liberties. Ordinary, peaceful citizens now risk substantial jail time for the simple act of praying in public, and offering help to women in need. Parliament has literally just criminalised compassion.
“And that’s the point,” she continued. “This is not just an outrageous assault on civil liberties, it removes a real lifeline for women. Many children are alive today because their mother received help and support from a compassionate pro-life person outside a clinic. Many women feel like they have to choice to have an abortion, and pro-life vigils give them options. Now their choices have been taken away.”

Ms Williams concluded: “We will continue to fight against this cruel and draconian policy.”

“A caring society doesn’t criminalise people for offering help to vulnerable mothers.”

MPs speaking against the amendment recounted the stories of women who had been helped by volunteers outside abortion clinics.

Sir Edward Leigh quoted from Alina Dulgieriu, who was given the help she needed to give birth to her daughter Sara outside the Ealing abortion clinic. She said “The day I made my way to the abortion clinic is the darkest my heart has ever known. All I needed was help until I gave birth. A lady and a leaflet, that’s all it took. Right there, on the steps of the abortion centre, from all that darkness at last I felt hope. I felt for the first time that my child was wanted, not only by me, but also by complete strangers. For the first time I felt I was not walking alone on the day I was meant to end the life within me, my child.

I cannot express the joy and how fulfilled I’ve felt as a woman, as a mother, to be given the chance to have my child. A just and caring society doesn’t criminalise people for offering help to vulnerable mothers.”

We will be persecuted for telling the truth.

A survey of more than 2.4 million aborting women performed by the states of Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Utah during the years 1996 to 2020 gives us an accurate estimate of the number of “hard case” abortions, since these are the numbers that abortion clinics must report in official documents to these states:

Even the Guttmacher Institute puts the number of abortions done for the hard cases under 7% after doing several surveys of women obtaining abortions (the Guttmacher Institute was the research arm of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the largest chain of abortion clinics in the United States. It is considered the most reliable provider of accurate statistics on abortion).

Statistics from Other Nations

The reasons for abortions all over the world are largely the same. In 1998, the Guttmacher Institute published the results of studies showing that lifestyle reasons also predominate among aborting women in other nations. Its summary of surveys performed in 26 countries outside the United States showed the primary reasons for aborting given by the 62,658 women interviewed.3

0.39% is too high, I'm not buying it.

https://lifeissues.org/1999/04/rape-pregnancies-are-rare/

930,000(number of abortions in 2020) times 0.39% equals 3,627 abortions.

Using the same equation in the 1999 article above, you could expect there were 270,000 completed rapes in the US in 2020 (just multiplying UCR figure of 135,000 completed rapes, giving a generous rate of only 50% reported). When you control for and remove those that are statistically too old/young, on birth control (up from 15% in 1999 to 65%)/sterile, deposited, and issues with the man, the number of expected pregnancies is around 900.

Somebody is lying.

It's incest too, although that's negligible too of course. Anyways, whether it's 1000, or 3000, I think the message is clear: abortion is a failsafe for bad decisions by women, and that the regime plays it with the ''rape'' card is obviously a total scam (as everything that they say in their MSM).

And then they use 12 year old girls, talk a bit to her, write her a note to read and this comes out of it:

Just had a few thoughts:

1. Some pro-choice advocates will claim that pro-lifers are actually just "pro-birthers", since they supposedly only care about the baby until it's born. This logic falls apart when looking at exceptions where the mother's life is at risk (such as ectopic pregnancies) and in those cases an abortion becomes morally permissible, as one life is likely to die anyway so the mother's right to life triumph's the baby's right to life.
2. When it comes to abortion exceptions in the case of incest, it doesn't make sense just because there is a chance of birth defects. If this were the case, then one could argue abortion should be allowed whenever down syndrome is detected, such as how they do in many European countries:
In Iceland, almost 100% of babies with Down syndrome are aborted, because the take-up for screening is very high and almost all babies then have their lives ended. According to official statistics reported in the Icelandic Parliament in the period from 2008-2012, all babies diagnosed with Down Syndrome in Iceland were aborted.

That looks very Satanic.

I understand all of the concern about abortion, but I don't think political activism against abortion is the right answer. If people in the world want to have abortions, let them. It is a huge political distraction that has nearly nothing to do with God and Christ. In the faith, obviously abortion is horrible, but so is almost everything else done in the world, which is the Kingdom of Satan. I see it as an epic waste of time and energy to be anti-abortion politically. Let the world have what the world wants, it is the domain and concern of those in the world.

These people are the enemy of God, just like all of us were when we lacked faith. Would Leonidas have cared if Persians had been aborting their innocent babies? Of course not, fewer enemies for him to fight. It's also worse I think to be born to a mother who neither wants nor loves you, than to be aborted. I know that would have been my preference if my mother had felt that way about me. I also do not think that an aborted baby is doomed to eternal damnation because we know that God is merciful. That's a different part of the discussion for sure.

I'd compare that to defending genocides.

There are all sort of legalistic, practical and utilitarian "excuses" to be apathetic about abortion. Have you ever read a historical text and thought "wow those people were retarded?" Even with generous moral relativism, committing human sacrifice never ages well. I sure there were some Indians that said "well I don't think cutting out the hearts of slaves really effects the weather but it's useful population control, so let's keep going."

Even if you're presumption is right. The elites have used the lower birthrate to import third world aliens to destroy our society. So there is zero benefit.

I understand trying to find a silver lining in such confusing evil. The level of comfort women have killing their own babies is senseless.

The "better to kill babies than have an unloving mother" idea is a fallacy and a pro-murder talking point. The distress women go through after killing their own child is settled science. They know they were deceived and committed a serious sin, even if they claim to be atheist.

Yes, I would not expect anything else than this, I understand.

Who cares what the elites do? That is of this world, not of the Kingdom of God. Nothing will change until God wills it, and that means bringing the Kingdom of God here to earth. But not the way that you expect. That was what the Jews expected from the Messiah too, but it is not what Jesus preached. The most difficult thing in the world, apparently, is giving up the world. I fully understand where you are coming from my brother, and I also understand that in this limited forum post I cannot make you understand where I am coming from.

I honestly care not about abortion, genocide, murder, anything. No number of human deaths is any better or worse than one. We all die, and the sum always adds up to the same number. I say focus on God and not on the issues and worries of the world. Eventually it will all make sense.

When Jesus said faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains, tell me what he meant. When you understand this scripture, you will also be able to judge issues of the world correctly.
