The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thread

I think it's pretty obvious that AOC was groomed by the oligarchs to be the successor of Nancy Pelosi (or worse, Barack Obama). She has no discernible skills and has a refrigerator-temp IQ which means she will be easy to push whatever agenda the globalists want (and for a much cheaper price--buku Twitter and Instagram likes).
I don't think AOC is being groomed for anything and I doubt she will ever hold much power.

She's an easy target for criticism because she's a former bartender I think, who is really just an average woman today, and she's young, and suddenly she is put on the level with rich old powerbrokers, so she gets picked on a lot ( and let's be honest, she's probably more sane, and better looking than the average female voter).

I don't hate the girl. I don't think she's in line for any major power role. Is it odd that she got so much media attention, including the cover of Time Magazine, when she's just one of a handful of new freshman congress critters? Yes, but she's also a brave bold Latina single strong female. She fits their narrative, so I'm not surprised the media loves her.

Do I agree with her? Look, I don't believe women should even be allowed to hold public office, but I'll be honest, she's not that nutty. Sure you could pick and choose some insane things she has said, but I consider her just a barometer of public opinion. I've heard her say some weird things, and I've heard her say some common sense things. Mostly, I think she's just reflecting the views of the people who elected her.

Which is exactly what you are supposed to get in a democracy. A representative of popular opinion of the people. There's no reason to hate her. Show me what Democracy looks like? This is what Democracy looks like.

AOC's response to that whole "insult" fiasco show's she's not ready for the big time (probably will never be). If she had called the GOP guy a cuckservative for apologizing to her, she might've showed she means business and has fighting ambition, but instead she just cries and whines about the whole insult as a victim card.

But there is no crying and whining being done. She basically says "I'm not expecting an apology from a man who thinks it's ok to be disrespectful to women."

It's part of a wider societal trend in which women are praised for not giving forgiveness to men. And it brings me right back here.

Tread softly. You Don't want to pick on a woman when Kona has her back.
Whatever you guys think about what she did, that guy's not getting re-elected.

She's in a dirty business. Use what you got to get what you want for you and your people.

Now there will be a Democrat in that dude's district. He should have known better.

Aloha!

She did win this skirmish. But it was against a weak opponent and she didn't actually "win" as the guy surrendered because he's a lame duck. I think the bottom line is that voters want aggressive winners that will "fight" (ridiculous concept) for their cause.

I'm viewing this from a male perspective so I could be incorrect but her response seemed like a typical conflict with a woman where the man is pressured to apologize but nothing actually changes.

Yoho already announced last year he is not running for reelection, so yes by default he won't be re-elected but its not because of AOC.

That's because forgiveness is a Christian trait.

AOC is not a Christian. Not even a cultural Christian. She doesn't have a Christian mentality or adheres to Christian (in nature) values.

We are entering a post-Christian era

Over two years now of Clown Cortez & her Clown show.

Aside from getting easy attention as a somewhat attractive gal (as if that is a difficult premise in the social media age...).
Has Crazy Cortez achieved anything of note as yet?

All bark & no bite 'twould seem...
