It is amazing that people don't even realize their own hypocrisy. The super bowl really showed this (although there are millions of other examples). Leaders have access to the best information and often ahead of the commoners. They are eating at restaurants, going to sports games and often taking off their masks, and going to parties without masks. Despite this, people still live in constant fear. However, this goes for boomers as well as younger people. Remember that many college students are demanding to have mask mandates. Your uncle is a typical boomer. However, he is also a typical American. Many Americans of all generations are still swallowing the garbage the media tells them and refuse to ask basic questions. Asians may not want to import massive waves of poor people from other nations. However, certain Asian nations like Cambodia and China are filled with greedy and cold-hearted people that won't hesitate to scam their fellow citizens (to include selling dangerous food) just because they want to buy a nicer phone or car. We also see how Arabs treat each other and it is not very positive. Of course, some nations are more civilized and respectful than others. Boomers in China and Cambodia were largely responsible for Mao and Pol Pot's "excesses" though. We can fairly blame boomers in these countries for not making them better (to include many of the top leaders).
