This is how we got where we are today:

Canada Beyond 150

While regular Canadians are just trying to get along and do their own thing, the bureaucrat-class are operating things like this:

What were some of those themes? I'm glad you asked. One of them was "Capital and Debt ":

Saying it will 'allow you to participate in the access economy' sounds so much nicer than "you will own nothing and you will be happy."

Spoiler alert: don't read any further if you don't want to enter a rage spiral.

According to the site, these psychopaths were assembled to cook up this stuff back in 2017. I think about how blissfully unaware I was back then, and reflect on how much they've been doing behind the scenes in the 6 years since.
But at some point you have to acknowledge that your fellow Canadian is simply too stupid to look out for his own best interest

I wonder what percentage of Canadians relocating to Alberta having right-leaning views? It is a real dilemma as the more economic prosperity we attract, the more need we have for labour.
Many east coasters I know who are notorious Liberal/NDP voters are the type that would never move out west, the ones who do like myself are more likely to vote Tory

That's good to know. I think the stances on the COVID vax and firearms taken by the new government may be a carrot that helps draw libertarian/conservative minded people to Alberta. I have met a lot of provincial politicians (and some federal ones) as part of my work and believe many of them have good intentions and can see the danger of all the woke nonsense. I think we just need to see if Smith can carry the next provincial election.

^Yup, I have many east coast buddies who fly in/out of Alberta for work and they were not happy at all about the Atlantic Bubble travel restrictions and having to quarantine every time they returned home. A couple have relocated to Alberta after their house doubled in value, it’s crazy how home prices in Halifax are now higher than Edmonton and on par with Calgary these days. Another attractive reason to move to Alberta is the low provincial income taxes, which can be substantial for a guy making $200K/year.

Jason Kenney did a big push for relocating to Alberta out east and many have done so, since the only two real options are UCP/NDP, it’s a pretty clear distinction and hopefully the migrants will choose the former because Smith is a great thorn in the side of the federal Liberals.

When walking my harmless, beautiful, sweet-tempered dog it's only ever third-world immigrants who seem scared or upset about seeing a dog. I think it's because in their countries dogs, rather like the people, are not raised properly and turn out wild and wind up scaring people. Stray, hungry dogs seem to be a fixture in poor places.

Getting back to the post, I can't imagine it's real. No city in BC would urge people to keep their dogs away from people they think are Muslims.

I like nice dogs, with manners, but many dogs these days are... just AWFL (not really their fault). I don't appreciate being menaced by an unknown, unleashed dog running up to me. It isn't much different from the free-range kids many are raising days.

Being in Maple Ridge it's most likely some Good Ol' boys riling up the locals. What better way to get some attention towards the latest newcomers to your suburb than to let them know that Muslims hate your dog. Normies will be furious.
99 times out of 100 a random dog running up to me is the highlight of my day. It just so happens that I have a never-ending supply of head pats and chin scratches to deploy. But I also live in wine country which is predominantly white.

And I agree with some posters above that this sign/meme is likely fake.
I was on the Rez yesterday in West Van and the wild dogs are hilarious. Lots of Pitbulls. There is one Pitty who just stands on a street corner all day looking jacked. It also reminds me of how base those dogs are and if I ever find a collie on the rez I am going to steal it. Some of the best dogs I ever knew were rez dogs.

That's a bit of a sad commentary, isn't it? I mean in the sense that, if the same someone put up flyers saying that an influx of certain people would result in drugs and grooming gangs for your children it would get less of a reaction.
