The Christmas amnesty for banned accounts

It's Christmas time, and I have just this little idea.

A purely theoretical discussion. If you can unblock the accounts of former members that get suspended, would you do it?

Personally, I would like to see some guys and ladies back, maybe everyone except obvious trolls with few posts. It would be like a big family reunion and make many people happy (and some unhappy, of course), but I would do it.

A lot of people wouldn't be interested in returning probably, because they feel insulted or disregarded but I think some people will appreciate it.

I think living a lighthearted and forgiving lifestyle is much better for our spiritual and physical well-being than the opposite.

To get banned here, one has to earn it through behavior that is incompatible with the well-being of the forum. The rolling points system already gives a person plenty of chances to change for the better. Earning a ban in most cases demonstrates an inability to do this. An amnesty would not only undermine the deterrent and effectiveness of the current system, but also allow back all those that were unwilling to change.

Brah, there is no forgiveness here. Only the ones who worship Roosh are allowed! Bow at his feet like Sooth above!
He's got a great niche for sure since so many Christian men are submissive. Come full circle...a man goes out to crack the female code and instead gets thoilusands of submissive men as followers.

The Lord works in mysterious ways! God bless you and Merry Christmas!
You say you are Muslim. Your Prophet Muhammed married a six-year-old girl, and raped her at nine. I don't think you are in a position to moralize.

People who are banned were banned for a reason. The sentiment you have is nice, but the idea is not practical.

One of those former mods was really power-hungry and was banning people for small offenses. I have a feeling that's why he's no longer a mod.

I have a feeling that if a previously banned member wants to come back, they probably have made another account with a new name. Of the ones who do this, many are unable to keep from getting banned repeatedly due to the same behavior that brought the first ban.

I'm sure there are some members logged in right this second who were previously banned, and have been careful to avoid the banhammer since then.

Of the ones who were banned and never came back, I suspect most would not want to out of pride. A few would come back and be good members, but not very many..
