The Clown World In Retreat Thread

Sometimes organizations get so caught up in the diversity, equity, and inclusion dogma that they forget that they can get in legal trouble over it. A white man in North Carolina was just awarded $10 million for reverse discrimination by a medical company. The article doesn't say, but I bet that during discovery emails and other company documents were produced that showed them aggressively pushing a "diverse" workforce. The man was approaching his five-year mark in his position, so to avoid owing him more money in severance pay, they fired him, and used the opportunity to promote some diverse employees, then tried to say it was because of his performance. If the situation was reversed, this would be all over CNN and MSNBC this morning.
