The crisis of masculinity

Thread to discuss the crisis of masculinity. The gap between women and men is, at least socio economically, widening. More men dropping out of college than ever, in a few years even 2 women for 1 man graduating, more male depression (although also 1 in 4 US women are on antidepressants), an altogether feeling of meaninglessness, rootlessness and purposelessness. What's going on, which factors contribute to the crisis among men? Falling away of religion, destructive and bad social constructs about what masculinity ought to be (being a woman with genitals in essence), bad habits, lack of responsibility, lack of strong father figures? And what can we do about it, can things be turned around at least to some degree?

This is a very interesting video to start on this topic.

Rollo Tomassi has been talking about alpha males, betas, the sexual market place, hypergamy and the crisis of masculinity almost daily for over a decade now.

I don't know but seems like the fundamental practical advice he has to give is to "spin plates" and learn game to basically try to appear as an alpha. I think it's getting old and is a bit cringe to be honest, especially from a man his age. And as many has experienced, turning into a sexual degenerate yourself doesn't seem to be the answer in life.

I think Michael E. Jones has better advice and better solutions to give men.

Sure, that isn't the solution, but his analysis of what's going on from a societal view in regard to what's being done to men and women is top notch. Because of him I realize how deep the artificially designed divide and conquer strategy between women and men is - making men women and women men, let them fight leave them in total confusion and neutralize them in that way.

This times a thousand.

Am I the only one tired of the overly reductive alpha/beta male talk? What manosphere goobers think of alphas and betas are caricatures like the virgin/Chad meme. It's not that clear cut.

It's a topic that has been beaten to death to the point of comedy. Even his description in his video touches on the cliche.

emotional men can't help you find purpose.

Masculine responsibility, explaining timid 'Nice Guys' and acknowledging the listless Lost Boys Generation (once again) is the new hotness in TradCon / Grift Pill spheres.

Nothing gets impression click-thru like Man Up! to the despair generation. There's no end to the concern-trolling of "weak men = tough times" coming from pundits who have no understanding of the decades-long problem of purposeless men. Their simplistic solutions of Responsibility Hustle and 20th century Emotionalist Psychology are the only 'truthy' answers they have to offer.

In this show I'll analyze these pundits' failures to diagnose the Lost Boys generation and why they don't actually want you to find purpose.

I'm frankly tired of manosphere 1.0 "thinkers". They haven't grown up and they haven't provided real solutions. They still keep pushing the same tired nonsense over and over again. "Spin plates! Bang wenches! Agree and amplify! Neuro linguistic programming!"

None of what Rollo talks about helps at all. It only feeds the same angry post red pill, "i've been had mindset." It's amazing how when people find their niches as talking heads how they fail to actually grow and solve the problems they talk aboutl instead devolving to what amounts of feminine whining and bitching.

Want a solution ? Do what Roosh did, seek Christ.
Whoa! It's almost like Roosh was able to take all of his old manosphere sentiments, find what was useful, trash nearly most of it since it was useless, and find where masculine Christianity actually exists. Now you have men with backbones who aren't sticking their slongs into low quality women, are focusing on what makes society great, and are finally building things that last longer than fleeting moments of sexual pleasure.

And those who benefit from modernity hate it.

There, masculinity problem solved.

If you observe many of these men, especially Rollo as of late, seem to be in a permanent state of anger and frustration and lash out on other men as a whole.

Go look at their rage-filled tweets, many of which are insults on men generally.

Did you see the video I made a thread about in which Rollo rips on Roosh and other men for finding God?

I agree with all of this, except going the God-pill route.

The natural conclusion of the red pill is to become bitter and resentful towards women, basically towards the black-pill. Obviously that's not healthy. Honestly, most Red Pill stuff is only a step above the PUA nonsense created by socially awkward virgins. Not to say it's not effective, but it's extremely limiting and surface level. Plus it doesn't really lend itself to any sort of philosophical inquiry, since it is to be taken as dogma "that's just the way it is bro".

I for one think it's better to come up your own philosophy and system of belief, not just for male/female relationships, but life in general. It takes work, and you'll have to stumble around a lot, but it's the best long term solution imo.

That is the natural conclusion of seeing the world for what it really is now. What Beast said about "being had" mentality is true. The Red Pill is merely concerned with revealing to you that you have, in fact, been had. Where you go from there depends on how you deal with that revelation. Either you wallow in self-pity, the black pill. Or you see that the demonic nature of the establishment provides evidence before your very own eyes of the hell and the demons that the Christians have talked about for thousands of years before you were born. And if that is real, what else were the Christians right about? The God Pill points that way.

Almost every religion and belief system has something to learn from (not relativism, some have more more to teach than others, and some have nothing). My grander point is that it's ultimately limiting to put all your eggs in one basket with respect to your belief system.

For me, the "God pill" was the natural conclusion of the red-pill for me.
Everything I read in the bible ended up being true. Traditionalism via the bible is the way out.
There's no point trying to buck it or re-invent the wheel.

The path towards salvation and an end to clown world is spelled out clearly.
The black pill is the alternative path for those who still (for whatever reason) cannot or refuse to lead themselves to Christ. IE death.

Christ pill is the only way forward. Not even a question or doubt in my mind.

What's funny to me is that when I read the New Testament for the first time mid 2020, I already knew everything was true, because of the red pill journey that came before that. So that's why I think it'll never bring people to Christ when you give them a Bible: you have to experience it for yourself. Without that experience, I can say to someone all about the Truth, but they won't recognize it, same as I wouldn't have recognized anything in this red pill sphere 10 years ago, or anything about religion 2 years ago. It boils down to this I reckon: we think that the secular world offers freedom, as it appears to be so, but it's only when you've traveled that path of freedom and found out personally through suffering that it's slavery and leads nowhere than destruction, that your eyes actually can be opened. It takes a lot to change one's worldview 1000% around, whether that's coming from secular to religion, or from religion to secularism likewise, as the 2 are diametrical opposites, with the difference nowadays that when you come form secularism to religion you're the enemy of the system, whereas when you come from religion to secularism you're celebrated by the system.

Some of the insane and rage-filled ramblings published by the self-elected president of the manosphere. See the first one in which he dumps on men who found God.

The absence of strong fathers in the household is the biggest reason boys remain boys and don't have a gateway to masculinity and maturity. This interview has a great breakdown of what it means that so many of us grow up without a strong father nowadays. I like the quote strong fathers keep boys out of prison and girls out of the stripclub. Really without strong fathers there are no boundaries and there's no correction. Nowadays in 95% of cases there either is no father present, through all the divorce rate, or the father is a second mother, all cuddling and loving and caring, but no discipline, correction and teaching of how the world works, as they often don't understand that themselves being drained in decades of cultural indoctrination themselves.

Yeah I’ve noticed that guys who’re red pilled by nature all had masculine and based fathers. Fathers who knew how to deal with their wives in a red pill way. When you witness that as a child from an early age, you adopt the same behaviour as a man. On the other hand, if your father was a blue pill cuck, you learn that behavioural pattern.

The crisis of masculinity is a domino affect from the rejection of God.

Masculinity requires submission to God in order to function properly. Once society dispensed with God, and men had no authority above themselves, and other men, then you start to see what is considered "toxic masculinity". The idea that aggression and violence are a valid initial response to anger, that there is nothing wrong with fornicating with multiple women, that there is nothing wrong with adultery if you don't get caught etc etc.

I think women rightly became displeased with this godless, malignant masculinity, but their error was in thinking that this was the default, proper state of masculinity rather than an abberation of it. And so the narrative arose that masculinity itself is inherently toxic, when in actual fact the toxicity arises from the godlessness.

And so we have arrived at this narrative where men have to apologize for their chromosomes, and correct their behaviour. The idea that things could be corrected by returning to God is off the table, as is the idea that masculinity is not inherently bad, and so the solution put forth is the emasculation of men, which destroys them internally, and ultimately will destroy society.

It's just one of many examples of why things go awry when you reject God.

Thanks for sharing. Pierce is a legend.
You’re welcome.

What he has to say is far more valuable than nearly all YT manospherians, especially those who bring dumb whores on their shows and complain about degeneracy while at the same time feed the beast. Never will I turn to such clowns as
Richard Cooper, Rollo, Fresh and Fit, and the rest of the degenerate wing of the manosphere for models of manliness.

I recommend Dr. Pierce, Dr. F. Roger Devlin, Dr. Stephen Baskerville, Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, and Dr. Robert Glover.
