RE: Paypal's crackdown against red pill and alt right sites

I cant stand Paypal myself... Unfortunately its a necessary evil for me because I do business on eBay and everyone is just used to it. I don't want to alienate customers by switching a payment provider they arent comfortable with.

If I could get away with switching I would.

As someone making films and trying to get higher in the film industry (Europe, not Hollywood), I have to wonder... how fucked am I? I'm in a lucky position that I can get financing for my first feature film but after that? Will my film get any meaningful festival presence or distribution? What about my next film, will that get financing even though it's pretty red pilled?

Not feeling really confident about my chances in face of this assault from all sides.

If you got to that stage, and you need to ask that question on this forum, I feel it's fairly safe to say you have been marked, and you are being played.

If your film makes any money at all, it will all be taken away from you with an accountancy error.

You are playing in a world of sharks, yet you ask advice in a world full of minnows?

Good luck!

Seeing as you ask though, I would say you are pretty fucked.

This is all getting blown out of all proportion.

Roosh just needs to release his next e-book masterpiece and charge 20 Dollars for it. It's just kicking the can down the road, but hey ho.

Sorry if you already thought of this method Roosh.

Shit needs to get real. But there will be a way to make it work.

This is just the first salvo.

If it can't be made to work, then the whole lot closes down, and the whole lot of us are truly fucked.

Don't need to tell you we all have a vested interest in this. Even if it is just spite to start with. It will be survival later on.

Spite is fun. Survival, not so much.

E-Books are good. Fuck the content. Just release one every quarter. Keep on doing what you do. Don't stress. Stress goes in to the website.

Apologies if you or someone else thought of this before.

There has to be a way.

2Checkout has PayPal as an option and can be integrated within your website, so the design makes it such that you are not going to another 3rd party site to process the payment. People who buy from or who subscribe to donations would be more trusting of this. All customers are effectively using 2CO's merchant account and you're still again dependent on 2CO to not ban you, but there are other options like Stripe and Authorize.net.

While there is a clear crackdown and censorship of the sort of content that Roosh creates, it is surely nowhere near ban worthy in the majority of payment processors' policies. PayPal is just particularly bad in this respect; they even ban absolutely 100% squeaky clean businesses because of mere "suspicions of irregular activity" or whatever other crap they choose to come up with.

And while it is ideal to find a payment processor who would love to do business with Roosh, this is not always realistic. Unfortunately, unless you are a huge business generating millions and millions in processing fees, we are all subjects of the payment processors. Even if totally legit, one can only make backup plans and hope one does not get canned by the first choice, and adapt accordingly. I think that is sufficient for now. If the censorship becomes extreme, more extreme anti-fragile measures would be required. These are unfortunately quite costly e.g. while 2CO allows use of their merchant account, an independent merchant account direct with the card processing bank is a consideration. Hopefully by then more people are using and trusting Bitcoin which would solve a lot of these problems.

For what it's worth, Roosh, I think that Roosh V Store looks way cooler than what you had earlier, PayPal or not.

That was the product of 11 days of hardcore labor. My existing store wasn't compatible with other payment processors so the cancellation lit a fire under my butt.

I think this is part of a wider crackdown by PayPal against any business that people could possibly complain about. A lot of the larger web hosts are the same way; as soon as someone drops the dime on you for having objectionable content, they don't even evaluate the complaint's legitimacy. They just send you a boilerplate takedown notice, because they don't want to deal with the headaches involved in hosting a controversial site.

It seems that PayPal also stopped handling transactions for CareerExcuse, a site that helps people fired from their jobs find new jobs. They would give you a fake reference so that you could get your foot in the door at another company and move on with your life rather than sitting in the unemployment line forever.

Some might argue, this type of service helps people who were fired for legitimate reasons fraudulently obtain jobs they don't deserve. Actually, though, most people who use CareerExcuse are well-qualified. Normally, during the interview process, the hiring manager will shoot the shit with you about what you did at your previous jobs and what kind of work you want to do in the future. You won't be able to tell a convincing story in a relaxed way unless you actually did do some similar work as what your resume describes.

What CareerExcuse helps you with is that slight detail of why you left your previous job. This is a much-needed lifeline for those who got fired for some bullshit like sexual harassment. These days, applicants are supposed to have a spotless record with lengthy tenures at each company and smooth, logical transitions from one job to the next that don't involve terminations for cause. Yet, as Andy Rooney notes, "There's something wrong with anyone who's never been fired from a job."

CareerExcuse's explanation was, "We have cancelled our partnership with PayPal, and the reason is quite simple; our expansion as a company is growing at a rate that is too quick for PayPal." But bear in mind, CareerExcuse specializes in spinning negative events as positives, and giving fake reasons for why events transpired the way they did. They even do that with their customers; when they were taking awhile to set up my account, they gave a bunch of excuses about how they were in the process of moving. Overall, I can't complain too much, though, because I did land a fairly decent job with their help.

how does the reference company have a fake address or business listing with the government for background check snoopes? This doesn't sound it would work for supra-retail jobs??

Paypal does business with the criminal, extreme-Left organization, FEMEN, specializing in serial sexual indecent-exposure (and brewing violent anti-Russian racism): https://femenshop.com/

Scandalous that an organization (Femen) that's been convicted of aiding and abetting sexual-indecent-exposure, all over the world, be allowed to use (covertly though, they hide it from their homepage, you have to simulate buying a product) Paypal, don't you think?

FEMEN is bankrolled and run by eskimos. They remember living on the Pale and peasants spontaneously rioting every few decades after getting fleeced. It's the same battles. These middle easteners dont forget a feud...

its better he doesnt say here, nothing good can come from it.

Agreed, unless the company has an explicitly stated goal of protecting free speech, better to keep it quiet. These SJW mobs will never rest until you are broke and on the street as they beat you with a baseball bat.

Heard there was a site called “Hatreon" that would be an alternative to Patreon?

RE: Paypal's crackdown against red pill and alt right sites

Hatreon just got banned from their hosting company today. The digital leftists are banning people left and right. The great summer purge is well underway.

TL;DR

I was tempted to buy a ROK t-shirt buy I am afraid of being black listed from PayPal. I use them for everything from ebay to buying Pizza from Dominos. Am I safe to purchase from ROK or will they fuck me?

RE: Paypal's crackdown against red pill and alt right sites

You aren't buying anything illegal. I've never heard of PayPal closing yout account for buying something legal. They go after the seller. You should be fine.

Hatreon was always a cringe-making name to choose. It might have been funny to a small number of edgy memelords, but they would have been much more successful with a neutral name.

Elon Musk bought back x.com from PayPal recently. 200% chance he starts a new payment processor if they start dumping enough businesses.
