The Donald Trump thread

So the people and businesses that need help are being denied this help because of politics?

This tells me that if the local government sucks, you cannot trust the federal government to provide any assistance or authority at all. That is nonsense.

Aloha!
Are you this new to the US civic system? This is exactly what the US government has done for years. They have withhold highway funds from states for not acting as the federal government wants them to. This is no different. Minneapolis acted out, it gets bitch-slapped. The fix is that you vote the corrupt bastards out or move elsewhere.

And besides, if those corrupt Minneapolian politicians get reelected, then the city fully deserves what it gets.

Edit: It also occurs to me that the local government also has the option of repenting, bending the knees to Trump, and publicly say, "We apologize for our stupidity in ordering the police to stand down and allowing so much damage to be done to people and their businesses. We understand that all lives matter, including business-owners, and formally denounce Black Lives Matter as a Marxist, divisive, and subversive organization that does not actually have black interests at heart."

But they won't. Because as leftists, their master is Satan.

The best play Trump could have made was to tell Minnesota...

"Yes, I will give you all the funds you need, but with stipulations. Those stipulations are that we will send in the federal govt. to investigate the local govt. top to bottom and find the people who are responsible for the derelict of duty to allow this situation to manifest. And then we will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Do you still want the money?"
And the result would have been the same: No federal funds would get sent to Minnesota, since the Dems could never accept any investigation into their staggering corruption.

Yep, but instead of being the bad guy who wouldn't give them money, he would be the guy who tried to give them money and the local corrupt politicians turned it down.

I wonder if Trump makes these decisions or if he is told to do these things.

I mean, they've already gone and called him Literally Hitler for four years now, and you're worried about the optics he's creating by refusing to give them money as punishment for destroying their own city? You can't get worse than Literally Hitler unless you start reaching into the absurdity that is Japanese anime mega-villains, and we all know how the Left reacts to smug anime girls.

Personally I don't care either way, I delve into that more in the Complaints about Donald Trump thread.

I'm just pointing out she should have played it like this. There are a lot of normies in the middle in Minnesota and he missed a golden opportunity to playcate to them.

Heh.
For all the ire & derision thrown at Fox News over the years.

Watch the Soycialist Clown side now defend Fox News...

I've always known Fox news to be owned by (((one of them))) so I just watched the channel because it is far less cringe, has pretty women presenting the (already filtered) news, than any other news station by far. Never once did I expect them to help me form my political opinions and I never will.
(((They))) like to play both sides like a good cop bad cop 80's movie. Don't have time for that melodramatic BS.

If MN normies can't figure out why their state is fucked up and continue to vote D, despite 150 million+ in damages and hundreds of businesses moving out of their state, then there is nothing more Trump can do to convince them to change their vote. It's a lost cause at this point, better off buying off Hispanics with more Trump bux imo.

Trump is trying to expand his Hispanic voter base. Just the other day he passed an Executive Order called the "Hispanic Prosperity Initiative" which will give Latinos greater access to lower interest home loans, vouchers for school choice and greater economic opportunities. Not sure how this will play out with Latinos in November but it remains to be seen.

Maximo Alvarez, President of Sunshine Gasoline: "Don't be useful idiots."

Alvarez, the President of Sunshine Gasoline, said the American Dream is at risk of being destroyed by the Left using the same tactics he saw the Communists use in Cuba when he was just 11 years old.

“We come over here, in my case because my parents chose that I would not be indoctrinated by the communist country, by the totalitarian country, by the totalitarian regime. They don’t educate children. Absolutely not. And this is something that we need to understand. What is happening in our backyard today, I experienced as an 11-year-old. I remember vividly all the promises that a guy named Castro gave, and how 99 percent of the people swallowed the pill,”

“It took many years later, after I read somebody named Saul Alinsky, that I realized that all those people were nothing but useful idiots. I remember Castro while in the mountains being interviewed and asked if he was a communist. He went crazy. … He was going to save Cuba. I remember how he promised to the farmers, to the wahitos that you’re going to own the land. I remember all the promises that we hear today about free education and free health care and free land,”

Alvarez reminded people that Fidel Castro abolished the police, the military and even took over the Catholic church. The immigrant’s dad, however, saw through Castro’s words because he experienced the same thing under communist Spain. Alvarez’s father saw parallel’s between Castro and his home country.

The businessman explained that the left uses fancy terms and promises to try and indoctrinate others. It’s the same tactics he saw in Cuba.

He also said the leftists rioting in the streets aren’t really socialists, they’re communists.

“Never forget about my dad who only had a sixth-grade education, but I think he was the greatest philosopher I ever met. He used to tell us how lucky he was because he was able to come from Spain to Cuba. And then he came from Cuba to [the] United States and he saw me graduate from college, and that was the biggest prize he ever had. And he said, ‘Don’t lose this place because you’re never going to be as lucky as me. Because if you lose this place, you have no place to go,’”

“So with that, please keep that in mind. And please, people, explain that to our young people who are demonstrating out there. Don’t be useful idiots, Please understand what’s happening in our country. See what happens to our parents and see what is happening to America today.”

Why should white Americans support Trump if he acknowledges and gives special treatment to every group but white Americans, even to those who attack us? What a joke. Honestly, just think about it like a historian will in a few decades looking back at this time. Ask yourself why.

My best answer at this point: because it triggers the Left. I want to keep them in a state of constant amygdala hijack so that they'll continue to tear at each other. The more mentally unstable they get, the sooner the collapse hits and the better off we'll be in the end. The alternative is Biden.
