I'm just so tired of the fake cheerleading of non-accomplishments and want to see my fellow man get back to more positive things. Protest the lockdowns. Build a family. Look into the church. But please, enough of this horrible politics. Its fine to vote, or even prefer a turd sandwich over a giant douche, but dont invest your time or energies into it or pretend like one is really great.
Loved reading all that, ahh the memoriesAnother 2016 favourite.

I can't count how many times I've read the sentiment (in one form or another) of "if so and so happens, it's going to force the people on the left to take a good long look in the mirror..."
I've got bad news for anyone who has ever voiced this: Ignorant people are ignorant because they have no capacity for introspection or retrospection.
You can't wave a magic wand in front of someone's eyes that forces them to see reality. And capitulating as a tactic of bringing about destruction so people will "wake up" is the weakest crap I've ever heard.
A Trump loss would just embolden the enemy even more. It would cement the idea in their minds that his 2016 election was a one off and should be regulated to a blip in history.
I agree that Trump has made bad cabinet decisions, but I think you're ignoring a big part of what he stands for.
Trump's entire persona is exactly what makes left wing heads explode. They want obedient castrated men who follow orders. With Trump they have no idea what to expect. He'll call them out, embarass and troll them. He's made many people wake up towards the MSM propaganda machine. Trust in the media is at an all time low.
He's also got a lot done vs. previous politicians.
Remember that they aren't after Trump, they are after all of us and people like us. Trump is just in the way.
We have to hope. Beyond temporarily enjoying the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the other side if he wins, all we can do is hope that he's learned something from his first term and will do better next time around.I cut Trump some slack for his crappy appointments as there was an obvious adjustment period, and he did have blind faith in taking advice from rats at the start. Now though, I firmly believe he understands how the machine works and will clean house and fire anyone he has the ability to and for resignations from the rest and start with a clean slate.
Big GDP after govt hands out TRILLIONS????? You don't say? GDP is still down bigly year-over-year. Unemployment, including pandemic assistance, is eye-watering.
I really don't want to rain on your parade. I hope you vote for Trump. However, the economic cheer-leading is absolute BS. You cannot claim, as several in this thread have done, that you're voting for him knowing he hasn't been the best or has character flaws... then tout this nonsense about the economy like Trump didn't screw it all up along with every other politician.
GDP has always been a garbage metric but what are you going to do? YoY will look bad due to Corona so spliting into quarters is best to see how things are going. Yes, Govt pumping money results in a boost but this is not new. People like to think Govt printing press would stop with any other POTUS. No way. The fiscal policy of the USA is still controlled by 'other' people not intertwined within Government as one would think.
I have said this before that the USA is too far gone to do anything about its spending and finances and nobody can and will do anything to force the USA to restrain itself. As long as the USA is the Petrodollar and the USA controls global trade flow, they get free reign to spend as much money as they want. It won't stop until the globe demands X currency and bonds over the USA's products.
So what you're saying is; you welcome your new Chinese Communist overlords...?
