The End Of Roosh Hour

This podcast helped me realize that Roosh is a 'glass half-empty' person that predominantly focuses on the negative instead of positive. No matter the positives if there are negatives they will outweigh Roosh's scales. It's a form of invisible black pill. The world is horrid and bleak. I get that but Death to the World. This mindset is a product of the corporate West and the only cure for a person like Roosh is to get out of this Matrix, get out of US, get out of cities. A wounded person cannot heal in such a place. Roosh often asked rhetorically where to go. There are many such places. He was in Novi Sad. Plenty of monasteries there. It's a good place to pursue Orthodoxy. Armenia despite all it's faults it's a different world compared to USA. There is a lot to pick and choose over entire Balkans. Unfortunately Roosh can't fully unplug. To do that he would have to close the forum. If the forum remains he will always be connected to the news feed. That thing has to be avoided at all cost because it burns the soul. Anything that comes from the west today is lethal poison. It was a good decision to end Roosh Hour. I think he starts to see how deep the wound goes. It's not enough. A wound cannot heal in a cesspool. A person this sensitive to the rot has to get out completely. I wish I had such a wound because it would help me make the right decision.
Nah, that's a bad take. It's a test of one's faith to maintain it in a world that is hostile to such a faith, and it's totally inappropriate and weird to judge Roosh as both wounded and sensitive. The only issue with Roosh hour was that it was constantly being cancelled and suppressed. I bet Gab.tv would a good place if he ever wanted to launch a new show.

Being on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg, and knowing the ship is going to sink, and that if you want to survive you must get on a lifeboat is not being "blackpill".

The world is the Titanic, the serpent is the iceberg, and the water flooding in is sin. Jesus is the lifeboat.

If you don't want to drown in the icy waters, and have the Titanic be your tomb on the ocean floor, you better get on the lifeboat right now.

I don't need anyone telling me I'm "blackpill", or I need to just "chill" because I know the dire situation we are experiencing.

When the student is ready the teacher arrives. For the people missing Roosh Hour, I get the sentiment, but there's a ton of Ortho broadcasts in the Orthosphere. Take a look at Tristan Haggard, Jay Dyer and David Patrick Harry on Youtube and Rokfin. Take a look at fr Spyridon. Dive into new areas of the rabbithole. There's a time and place for everything and all that has a beginning has an end. Roosh Hour also played a tremendous role for me to see the broader scheme of what's going on, but since it ended I've found among other channels those mentioned above. Don't stay stagnant, take the datapoints and move on to new adventures. The things that were discussed at the stream, as much as I liked it too, can be 100% found on the threads on this forum, in fact most of the stream came from this forum, so there's no excuse not to know what's up.
I agree and still watch other channels daily, go to advice for my spiritual fathers whenever I need it, have made many friends with Orthodox men, some of whom even on this forum that I know in person. It's not necessarily the news that I miss from the Roosh hours, as you're right you can get that anywhere. Moreso I enjoy his dry humor and the way he presents it, and I can highly relate to his spiritual struggles and battle with lust.

I think there's a good chance that he eventually comes back to doing them, after a period of self-reflection and improvement, in a way that does not tempt his pride or blackpills too much. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Roosh hour for me was like the band playing their final song on the titanic if i had to use your analogy. A way to make the best out of the situation, sharing a moment in time with like minded people.

I remember his talk with Milo and I superchatted the question how it was to make these sometimes incremental, sometimes monumental, changes on a day to day basis as they went from living their secular lifestyle towards Christianity. And in that regard, as we all know if you go through all of these changes, learning how the world works, getting to know religion and God, realizing all was lies, battling that cognitive dissonance and self attack, it's a continuous bombardment, an unending barrage which evidently effect your mental, psychological, spiritual and physical state. So in that sense I think it's good for Roosh that he can straighten himself out in the background now instead of in the limelight, as then you think something new every other day or week which will cause you to send out a fragmented message, plus you probably look back on your work 2 weeks prior and think I already see the world entirely different than it is. Once one has reached stable ground, he can look up again and see where he can contribute even more, with video's or not, but indeed Roosh may come back with a more Orthodox focused kind of Roosh Hour, or more religious per se, but until that time being I'm grateful for his articles and this forum! :)

I've never heard of Roosh House or know much about anything about this guy apart from some news story where I think he was banned from going to certain places by some feminist influences.

Repentance is a gift from God. This is good to know that nobody is missing out in terms of whatever Roosh was doing before because he is here today and that all of that is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Ecc 1:14 "...I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold all is vanity and vexation of spirit".

King Solomon likely was on a similar path as Roosh was and his enlightenment inspired the book of Ecclesiastes, in a manner of reading all of these articles Roosh is writing today.

However, from all accounts, it didn't end will with King Solomon as some of his wives lead him to idolatry.
