My parents still have cable and the price just keeps getting jacked up. Prices in general just go up, in fairness, but still it looks like a desperate cash grab to me. Cable TV knows that the inertia of the demographic they nursed and groomed is all that's keeping them alive, they see the writing on the walls, time to loot while they can.
Drives me nuts but of all my parents vices paying too much for brain-rotting TV is frankly one I'm going to let pass at this point.
Yep. I just did a check of the network evening news on NBC, CBS, and ABC and 81% of their audience is 55 or older. Worth repeating again.... 81% of their audience is 55 or older. A quick search put the average age of viewers at around 65 years old. These newscast are relics left over from the 60s and 70s.

The pink flower and the hat are just over the top. Nobody would ever think even a gay man would want this creature. It's completely impossible to believe anybody ever allowed themselves to be photographed looking like this.
