All the Russian team members voted in favor of launching this experiment. Only one team member, a US citizen, was against it. He argued that the US media would dismiss this feature and accuse them of sexism.
They launch the apps and some Fake News outlets accuse them of being russian agents (you can't make that shit up).

I think they put Taylor Swift through this app to see what she looked like without makeup, and unsurprisingly she still looked good. But she basically is a model. For most women make up is war camouflage. Apps like this are a necessity for men as a sexual arms race continues, Women will go to extreme lengths to alter their appearance in artificial ways. The best thing women can do to look better is to stop acting like men and lose some weight, then all the time and money they waste on make up becomes redundant.
