Hahaha - I think you just coined a new term. It's a fork of traditional masculinity or of its closer relative, neomasculinity (the tenets of this actually aligned better with me). Maybe I just need to "evolve" my thinking? I'm stuck in 2015.

I have a theory. I can't confirm it. I think someone (maybe aliens) took out Roosh and replaced him with a body double in 2019.

All the memes related to this are very effective and amusing. They obviously resonate with people, just like the NPC meme before. Not to mention the deranged response. That alone shows how this thing has got legs.

I do wonder what the endgame is for all these pills. We're getting this dished out to us when we've barely swallowed the God pill or whatever. It reminds me of Vox's sexual hierarchy which has become a Greek alphabet soup (he calls homosexuals Lambdas - why not just call them homosexuals, which is what they are?). Although "gamma" is a useful concept, both in identifying such behaviours in others so I can stay clear, and in correcting them in myself.

Still, I liked when it was just alpha and beta males, and red pill and blue pill. The simple divides work best as long as you remember that they are contextual, that nobody is on either side all of the time. All the other stuff that got tacked on later seems to be just a way to create an endless amount of stratified, set-in-stone little niches. What would the most extreme outcome of this be? "Now I'm Honk Pill, I'm just going to laugh at the world and I don't want anything to do with God or girls or anything in-between", said no-one ever. Let's keep it that way.

The way I see it, red and blue pill are fundamentally different ways to look at the world. You can either see the world as it is, or the illusion. All the other "pills" are merely the consequences of taking a red-pill outlook. They don't constitute new worldviews or paradigm breaks in themselves. You take the red pill, and then as a consequence, you pick and choose combinations of self-improving, gaming, finding religion, enjoying the world, laughing at the world, despising the world, whatever. Personally, as much as I love to laugh at the crazy shit in the world, I'm never going to allow it to make me forget, reject, despise, or abandon the real world.

Or maybe I'm just rationalising because clowns fucking terrify me.

This actually makes me recall an incident when I was about seven years old. I was at a circus, and a clown was surrounded by children who were teasing him. He was angry and lashing out at his tormentors. This must have made a deep impression on me, because I still remember it. I learned at an early age that clowns are not happy.

I saw this post by Zel just before the current Honk Pill thread was started, and it kind of converted me instantly to the Honk pill. Somehow the cross between The Comedian and Neo after he mastered the matrix is a perfect metaphor for me.

The moment I saw these two pictures, it clicked for me as a way to see how insane the world is, and to detach myself from it, but to master my situation within it with a sort of happy Zen warrior mindset.

After taking the Honk pill, I can see the craziest shit happening, and I'm not even mad.

It's only interesting that the highest saints have a similar detached outlook. It's just that they focus on enlightenment while understing that the outer world of strife and chaos is just that - any semblance of peace, order and prosperity is only temporary. Albeit the outlook may appear similar to the black-pillers it's a bit different, because you retain a positive outlook on humanity and life itself, doing good as you can, but still are detached enough to understand that it's likely going to go to shit this time around.

How easily people jump from one thing to another. Everything today is a fad. And to me, fads are symptoms of consumerism and trying to fit in. Again, nothing to do with the direction we were going towards for what being a real man is in the age of low-T males and PC culture. It's now devolved to soyboys vs. clownboys.
