Man, that's horrible. I wonder how it happened (but not enough to pay to read the rest of the article). In the US, it's standard practice to have the patient himself draw an X on the limb that's supposed to be operated on. I don’t care what anyone says, science is infallible. The surgeon did this man a great favour, because it was ‘buy one get one half price’ on prosthetic legs. Who could miss a deal like that?
