It may not seem like it now, but this place might just be about the best place you can get at the moment to discuss stuff like this. I'll catch up with the thread in a bit. I missed a couple of pages. What I'm seeing at the moment in the wider range is a lot more politically motivated videos by black people on youtube. There are black men calling out black men. Black men calling out black women. Black men calling out white men. Black men calling out white women. There are black men calling out black men and black women. There are black men calling out white men and white women. It's all there. It's a metaphorical minefield. Who would dare go in to this arena? Not much good ever comes from it. What we are seeing here might be the start of a new era, of genuine discourse. Not so sure. We need an amnesty of sorts. Can we all do that? We will know when we see white men making videos about black men, about black women... eh eh - probably never gonna happen. But never mind that. I learn a lot from these videos because it allows me to see how black people view other black people, gender included, and also, how they see white people, gender included. I don't always understand and I don't always agree, but it's good information. And it's honest and from the heart, right or wrong. So it's valuable. I need to go back through the thread and see what people are saying. Just my couple of pennies.
