The Incoming Food Shortages

Make sure you have a small generator to chill the freezer periodically. If there are legit food shortages there will be brown outs from time to time as well. I would recommend something that can run on both gas/petrol and natural gas, then you can store nat gas tanks that can last for a long time
Good advice, my problem is that I don't live in a detached house. Wondering if I can run one of those generators on the balcony and avoid the carbon monoxide risk...probably not.

I also just got a deep freezer and will be spending the next few weeks filling it up with meat, frozen fruits and veggies, ice-cream. etc.

Question for the forum: how long is frozen meat (beef, chicken, fish) good for? I’ve read that it’s about a year, is that correct?

If that’s the case, I need to come up with some sort of a rotation plan. Always have a year’s worth of meat in the freezer, continually using the oldest meats and restocking whenever possible.
Depends on how it’s sealed. Brown paper/Plastic wrap, 6 months. Vacuum sealed, a couple years if the butcher did a good job.

Always rotate.

Is there a separate thread regarding the food processing plants that have been crippled or destroyed in the past year? I’d like to start tracking these with a cohesive, chronological list with some links. I made a half-hearted effort to track them down recently but the news of these occurrences is scattered all over the threads.

I noted this to my wife when she was bemoaning the weekly growing costs of our groceries and got the old “are you suggesting another conspiracy?” Yes. Yes I am.

Might be a good idea to have a food sabotage thread to track that. Here's the most comprehensive article I've found, from Daily Veracity.

What do you gentlemen think, is Russia itself vulnerable to food shortages, natural or artificial, especially with the war raging in the grain producing oblasts of Ukraine, and Russia's economy reorienting itself towards war time.

Seems like all nations are vulnerable so long as the so called 'Great Reset' agenda continues to march forward. The tentacles of the central planners of this new global society reach far and wide.

Yep, the food shortages are simply a means to an end (although some do have depopulation as an end goal). By having food riots in the developing world, that opens up new opportunities for color revolutions to install new liberal governments. It also will put pressure on Europe as a whole with a new refugee crisis. Russia may feel some pressure, but it will be moreso discomfort than a genuine crisis I believe unless Ukraine turns into anything like a more competent Afghan insurgency, which will potentially exhaust the Russian people. What they're trying to do with Russia is death by a thousand cuts. Food, conventional war, embargoes, cyberwar, refugees, color revolutions among their neighbors, cultural degeneracy, health tyranny, these are all tools they use to remove governments and manipulate populations.

How does it fit with the 'Putin is a WEF guy'?
