The inexorable decline of American cities

Instead of just airing the video, they show a recording of a woman watching a laptop displaying a cell phone video for less that a two seconds, describing the scene for us. So, that would mean the courtroom rioters are all black then, correct?

More proof Scott Adams is right. I wish these people nothing but the blessings of God, but I don't think it's wise for us to live in the same communities. We're too different and that's okay as long as we don't bother each other.

Sickening.

No surprise, I seen dog (and human) poo on the streets when I visited NYC in 2019. Imagine the city was still a White majority and not plagued by the problems the diversity and corruption infested there!

I can't imagine why people living in an apartment would want to live with a dog. Many people do not clean up after them in my neighborhood and it's been an ongoing problem. Why anyone would introduce a responsibility of a dog in their life is beyond me. Rain or freezing cold you have to walk the thing. Unless you have property to let the animal run around on, a dog sounds like a bad idea to me. People are taking their dogs everywhere now including stores.

I can't stand dogs...

The brother of one of our worker's died last night. He was 20s, had an overdose of some kind last month, got released a week ago, then died last night (heart stopped). It is just becoming so common, between SADS and ODs. Lord, have mercy on this young man's soul.

El Salvador was the first ( perhaps only) in the western hemisphere to break ranks from the Covid narrative and suggest that eating healthy, losing weight and, exercising were beneficial. This was in 2020. Whats nuts is we still dont hear it much if at all even though we know being obese is a comorbidity

Security. But that only works when your residence has a door that opens to the outside and you're armed.

I love dogs but now I am repulsed at the degree to which they've become a retarded substitute for kids. It's all I can see. And they are in big high rises or apartments, to boot. Life is already so annoying with the way the culture is so dumb, but remember, it's mostly women that are doing this. Dudes that like dogs wouldn't want to be bothered by waking up, having to come back home to check on, etc. Unless they have a family already. So stupid.

I have a dog and I am repulsed by how young couples treat them like kids.

It’s a dog. They lick their nuts for fun. They scoot their… buns… on your carpet.

And people dress them up in princess costumes now and take them to Disney world.

Idiots!

Thought I would bump this, rather than making a new thread.

I've had the good fortune to never live in a Western city. I think the closest I have got was a week in Lisbon. I've spent most of my life in what would have been called flyover country, if I lived in America. I didn't go to university; despite persistent attempts by norms to bully me into it.

Some time ago I saw a photo of the cousin of goyslop engorged waster Cenk Uygur and serial John - Hasan Piker. He is a posterboy for leftist fake-rebellion scrubby alternative culture that seems to be the main vein of cool (pride) promoted by the red media in the current year. I realised that had no idea what the cities were. They are more alien to me than villages in Eastern Europe.

Recently I was told of life in a West African capital. It just seemed at various stages of decline that are much more advanced in the West. They told me their best friend was gay.

*prepare you best Dr. Pasta Martin Ssempa accent*

I asked,

Is is normal?

They: What?

I: Is it normal to be gay?

If this was a Western country, I'd no doubt be felling their NPC ire now. A very good attempt at an East African accent would probably further ensnare me, rather than extract a laugh. Give it two more generations and I may have been arrested by the West African Thought Police.

Getting to the very heart of it - what would you say it is about cities that makes them a cauldron of degeneracy, pride, low trust etc.?

It means "Outside of the building". A lot of apartments have doors that open to an interior hallway.
It's obvious now that you clarified. I was hung up on which way the door swings for some reason, instead of interior vs exterior entrance to the apt.

I was in a grocery store the other day and two guys brought in their pit bulls. I mean, what the hell? Since when can you bring a pitbull into a store where it can easily bite other people?

I’ve been reading a book by Richard Florida, “Rise of the Creative Class”, and his theory is that cities attract this kind of thing because major employers don’t care about any of that; they just want people to do the work. Gay, Indian, Muslim, it doesn’t matter to them; Can you code? Asias big cities attract workers too, obviously, but they don’t have all these trust issues because of homogeneity.

As most jurisdictions within the Anglosphere use a judgement by jury system under a common law, it really is incumbent for the modern man to live in an area where the jury would likely be his peers in the true sense of the term, should he find himself in court.

Compare what China as achieved, by putting its country first, and not bankrupting itself with endless foreign wars. The US still runs slow trains with 1950s technology, with a sparse outdated rail system.

I took a cross country Amtrak recently. First class cabin. While the service and food were quite decent, the train itself was really old and quite depressing.

You could see that maybe 40 years ago it was really something special.

The ride itself was laughably slow and very expensive, but if you have the time and money I would still say it beats flying. All of the train stations were also just monuments of a bit too distant bygone era when there was a little bit of pride in the country.

Increasingly the US is reminding me of a decaying post Soviet Eastern block country, but with diversity and fat people. But the broken national spirit and utter impotence and indifference to what is going on around us is just like what I saw in poor EE countries
