I started watching one of those banned documentaries, I believe it was Europa The Last Battle. I could only watch a few minutes per day, and finally gave up about halfway through. It portrays how the allies terror bombed German civilian towns, repeatedly, coming back day after day, first blowing up the buildings, then returning hours or even days later with napalm and machine guns to obliterate any survivors. This was the REAL "genocide" -- the attempt to murder as many people as possible of a certain group. The film describes this in 2 different cities, and it was just too much for me to take. Pure evil. I don't really need to know what is contained in the second half of the film. But the obvious implication is that when millions of your people are murdered, you are probably somewhat unwilling, and to a large degree UNABLE to adequately feed and support the prisoners you are keeping alive in camps. So the deaths that were caused in German camps were indirectly caused by the allies themselves. If the Germans wanted the prisoners dead, they would kill them. (And Germans were very efficient at doing this, if and when they wanted to). They would not starve a group of prisoners until they are unable work, but kept alive in order to tell the world how evil Germany was after the war. The Germans treated enemy *troops* far better than the allies treated enemy *civilians* (see Dunkirk). Did some abuses happen? I'm sure this goes on in every war. Russians are probably doing some unethical things here and there in Ukraine right now. But for the most part, it is Ukraine, and the Allies of WW2, who are committing atrocities, acting immorally, and on the side of evil.
