The Jordan Peterson thread

I know I'm being a bit "insensitive" here, but this is such a dumpster fire of a family, with a guy whose purported goal is to lead young men. His single mom, shacked up with a professional pimp/porn fiend, vocal fry daughter looks like a cheap thot with the thot hairdo and slinky getup.

Any decent father would have set his daughter straight, Peterson is the Boomer 130 IQ idiot who thinks "kids should find their own way" and view someone like Andrew Tate as successful. Tate is in fact the Crowleyan role model of sort for white kids today, that was the role model archetype successfully sold to Blacks back starting in the 1970s when the ClA was financing films like "Super Fly", where the hero high-T pimp exuding bling/gangsta culture who gets the $$$ and chicks with no regards for ethics, or no attempt to build real meaning for his life centered around a family. He's the brownish white guy who is is foisted as the pinnacle of manhood and the role model for the other crabs stuck in the globalist economic and cultural bucket.

A lot of the interest from my perspective in watching this video is peeling off the layers of lies, like when he claims his pill addiction is due to his wife's cancer, the guy has been on pills for a lot longer than that, as was his daughter, trying to sound like a victim who got blindsided by his prescription drug addiction. Here's a guy who has always advocated to his vulnerable young following to "take their pills". Same with his daughter, who claims she got addicted to pills because of her ankle surgery, when she probably got adicited well before that.

There is also that tone of voice in JP that is very similar to that of elite gamma habitual liars/lifetime actors like Bill Gates, they tend to have that vibrational distortion in their voice when they lie, and often revert to a "clean" vocal timbre when they're telling straightforward items. Their voice flips instantly between the two tones, depending on the message content and honesty level.

Notice the halo, this is not the first incidence, it's a recurring theme in his self-promotion:

This one is pretty interesting, and a double subversion in that he uses pagan art to mimic Christian iconic art. It also indicates a deliberate positioning by JP himself, as opposed to a photographer's composition.

There is also the whole notion of the tortured intellectual personna who is suffering for our sins, as if he were a saintly figure, as opposed to an overpaid gatekeeper who is a total mess, this is the direction and packaging he's been taking in a lot of his more recent material.

What is the last one from?

I don't want to say his health problem was fake, but I wonder if he sees himself as having died, being resurrected, disappearing from the world for a time, and now is coming back to save us.

I don't really believe his story about the benzodiazepines. The idea of a doctor octupling a patient's dosage from half a milligram to 4 milligrams per day, with no titration in between to see how the patient responded to each half-milligram increase, strikes me as either fiction or criminal malpractice. I suppose it's possible he did titrate up slowly and just skipped that part of the story to save time, but you still have to wonder about any doctor that would change the dosage by that amount if the patient was previously doing well on the half-milligram.

Also, this supposedly brilliant psychologist saying that he thought benzodiazepines were a "relatively harmless drug" is absurd to the level where I have a hard time understanding how he ever became a psychologist at all. I have a degree in Psychology and there is no way to study the field of psychiatric medicine, even at a 101 level, without having it clearly explained to you what these very basic, commonly-prescribed drugs do. Their addiction potential, withdrawal symptoms, and bad interactions with other drugs (including recreational stuff like alcohol and marijuana) are taught to you in class and you're tested on this stuff. This man is supposedly an expert, with patients, and is here saying he was blindsided by entry-level information.

Unless the standards for psychology education are absolutely bottom-tier in Canada, then there is simply no way that what he's saying is true. It's akin to a professional physicist going on TV and saying "I knew about subtraction and stuff, but recently I learned there's this thing called addition too, and wow, it really came out of nowhere. I had no idea that existed."

No way it's true? Why does everything have to be a conspiracy theory around here? The moral of the story is that even educated people have stupid blindspots, both the guy who prescribed him and JP himself.

Remember that JP and his daughter are also both into quack diets and his daughter became a THOT despite JP's tradcon front. her thottery isn't really on display in that video but her whole "brand" revolves around being a THOT who has a pathological obsession with her body and perceived health/sickness level.

That being said, given the current state of the manosphere I think it's in our best interest to have someone like JP out there rather than not. I'm interested in seeing how his near-death experience changes his tune.

I am meeting more and more people that he slowly helped to bring to the pursuit of real truth. And no, they do not stop short of seeing subversive movements or the benefit of ethnic nationalism.

He could be a Zionist shill for all I care, he still did an immense damage to the social justice movement and the grievances studies. I know he is seen by many as controlled opposition, a badly controlled one I would add. I don't need him, Milo or PJW to "talk about Jews" because getting them deplatformed for good will give me no pleasure or help the redpilling of society in any way.

As for the bible interpretations mixed with Carl Jung, I can see how that could be seen as terrible by the religious circles. It his everyday practical advice that most people find so helpful and endearing. He also took me away from the "militant atheist" crap that was happening about 2014-2016 on the internet.

I just want to know where Jordan Peterson is now.
>The government has a massive 'health' crisis infringing on rights, impacting everyones psychology, and changing social norms...not a peep from JP.
>The Cultural marxist BLM and their agenda are rioting in the streets, not a peep from JP.

"Rationalists" and "skeptics" in general are silent. Curious, huh? Wouldn't this be the perfect moment for all the chart-guys to come in with their "akkkkkkkchuly" schtick? Show the stats that this virus is not particularly dangerous, especially to people under 60, or that blacks are underrepresented in police shootings and that interracial crime is extremely lopsided in the other direction. This is their time to shine, and yet.....

How did anyone, and I mean anyone, ever listen to Peterson and take him seriously?
I watched the daughter's interview with him. When he initially raised to prominence, I admit I was listening to him. I was still clinging to a world where a college professor going against the grain was interesting.. Someone saying the very basic parts of what he was saying, was appealing.. then I woke up and started following Christ and realized I had been acting like a retard.

An old clinical psychiatrist who has "blind spots" about what essentially is his bread and butter craft, prescription drugs? Yeah sure.

This is a very good take by a former occult practitioner on JP's masonic leanings:

It would be great if we could have that guy's perspective on this board! ;)

And a follow-up from Michael on JP and Jungian occultism:

I don't know if he coined the phrase or not but his "equality of opportunity vs. equality of outcome" mantra is solid gold ammo against SJWs, IMHO.

No Ive read it in some of Milton Friedman's and Thomas Sowell's work. I doubt they are the originators either but youre right...Its a good framework from which to couch arguments against "equity" vs "equality" debates....assuming you dont get shouted down as soon as you interject something triggering...like reason

Drs don't prescribe propofol to help normal people sleep either. Rich, famous people don't get the same treatment we do. If he told his Dr he was going on a speaking tour and wasn't sure when he could get back for another appointment and would be in countries where even filling the script may be an issue, then he easily could've been overprescribed with the assumption that he'd only take what was needed to get by until he could refill. And when they're right in front of you...

Benzos can be weird. Often the first dose knocks you back but redosing much higher after doesn't give the same feeling. Someone can be staggering and slurring and not even notice how gone they are. Easy to overdo without noticing even if you know the risks, and that dose becomes the new baseline soon enough.

Not a psychiatrist, psychologist. Doesn't prescribe drugs.
